Stray Cat
There has been a stray cat living around our neighborhood for over a month now. We have been feeding her and letting her in our house. We are not sure where she came from or wether or not it was abandoned.
We later found out she was pregnant and about two weeks ago, she had the kittens (six of them total.). Now we are thinking about keeping one of the kittens (as well as the mother).
I can try to get a picture of the mother cat and the kittens later.

I can relate to this story. A lot actually.
The exact same thing happened to me three years ago. We found this cat in our backyard, she didn't have a collar and wasn't very clean, so we fed her and let her in the house after washing her. Then we hung up some flyers in the city and local neighbourhood, but nobody responded. So we kept her. Then we found out she was pregnant, afterwards we kept three of the kittens and one we gave away to my aunt.
In your case I think putting up flyers is just a waste of time, if someone was looking for the cat they would have surely put up flyers themselves. The thought of someone abandoning their cat is really sad, but it happens way more often than people think.

This kind of happened to me as well. Our cat came from the streets and we took him in. The only thing is that since he's a guy cat, he wasn't pregnant. We love him though. It is really sad that he probably was abandoned, but we did get a cat (even if he isn't the nicest ever, but he's great just the same--he bites and scratches everything: furniture, carpet, humans).
