DVD Shelf Seperators...

Post by STASHONE »

Hey does anyone know if something like this exists... sort of like bookends to either segregate categories or keep the items on your shelf standing upright?

I just picked up the new Treasures this morning and my Disney shelf is starting to get cluttered, I hate stacking the tins cause they're so fragile and susceptible to denting, etc. so until now I've kept them upright and seperated them with regular Gold and Limited single disc keepcases (ie: MMIB&W - Pinnochio - MMILC1 - Dumbo - Etc...). Anyways, I'm running out of room FAST.

I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions similair to like really thin yet effective DVD style bookends (preferably of convenient make like soft-plastic or something that wouldnt scratch or damage the tins) that i'd bve able to slide between each set so that I could just keep my Treasures standing upright all together and than organize my other DVD's around them...

Does this make sense?

I put all of the slip cases and tins away and just keep them in the plastic cases on a shelf. Also I keep them in order by year as opposed to by series.

I got one of those desk organizer things at staples, I think they are meant for organizing papers or books or something, I cant figure out how to post a photo, but heres a link to one of those office superstores pictures, I have a clear one that only needed minor modification to fit nicely, they also have 'wire' sorters that might work ok. they are covered in rubber.
hope this helps. Just go to your office master superstore and they usually have a lot of stuff that may work. http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=347674

Jules: You know the shows on TV?
Vincent: I don't watch TV.
Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?

I have a Locked Vault for all my DVDs. you might want to consider buying something bigger than a shelf.
