Scrooged - New Realease November 2nd!

Post by Rescue Ranger »

Now, I'm not sure if there are any others like me who having been waiting and still wanting to get their hands on the 2006 cancelled Yule Love It Edition!, but every year I keep hoping it will finally show up. Well it looks like it is finally happening.

Not sure if it includes any special features, which to me would be crazy when they already have a bunch from what was to be in the Yule Love It special features, but it does feature the Yule Love It Edition artwork with an added Christmas window treatment:

I cannot find any further details on this release anywhere else.

Sadly, it's just a repackaging of the old disc. Don't know why that Yule Love It edition had to be one of the few to never materialize. It's one of my all-time favorite movies and I would be all over a new edition. But just a festive new slipcover, I can pass on.

Well, I'll still pick it up being that I recently had to get rid of my older DVD due to some disc errors I've always had since I first got it.

Surprised this is getting some sort of new release, but its not blu-ray. You'd think knowing they have all those special features sitting around from the Yule Love It Edition(and using aspects of that editions cover) they would throw us some sort of bone. At the very least, they should include the commentary track.
