Who is your favorite Disney villian??

There are so many to choose from it's crazy...but I'd have to say my favorite overall villian would have to be Jafar. He just spews evil...there is nothing good about him at all, not a tragic soul, or a lost person...just pure evil to be on top. He reminds me a lot of Malificent...probably with the cane, and evil bird pet.

Out of all the 90's villians I would say he really the most sinister/evil one that still gives me chills....

Well, among my favorites are

Maleficent-she's just fun to mimic.

Jafar-smoothly threatening. cold, and can sing.

Ursula-she is such a sexy Diva!

Dr. Facilier-while a little on the illogical side, he's an expert con-artist and very effective in the beginning.

Frollo-the religious nutcase who think's he's doing the world a favor by forcing his belief's down everyone's throats.

Hades-he's just a cool guy. a casual villain, despite being so uncasual(he's a God, for fucking sake!)

The Disney Villains are my favourites of all the Disney characters so it's impossible to pick one favourite.

Jafar - my favourite Disney character. He is the ultimate villain, completely obsessed with getting power and willing to get rid of anyone to do so. He also probably had the best sidekick of any of the Disney Villains.

Maleficent - one of the most memorable characters ever to come out of Disney, willing to curse newborn children to death and able to turn into a dragon, the credentials of a great villain.

My other favourites are Captain Hook, Shan Yu, Dr. Facilier, Shan Yu, Madame Medusa and Frollo.

So many for me to choose from....

But I choose Maleficent, because she's evil itself in the form of a woman with horns on her head.

It's a tough decision, but I would probably pick Jafar as best Disney villian since Aladdin is one of my favorite Disney films.

Ooh, we've had many a villains discussion. But one more can't be all that bad. ;)

I think that the best villains are the ones who really are metaphors (or perhaps even equivalents) of real life's villains. Not the type of people who are fantastic devil-like creatures or cackling moustache-twitching baddies, but the characters who enter the scene subtly, controlling or manipulating people without extreme physical or supernatural force, and ultimately truly ruining their victims' lives. They really are generally the best villains (or should that be worst?), as they really leave a deep emotional imprint on the viewer. They're the type of personages who help turn a great number of the Disney films from diverting fairy tales into fully blooded and emotionally engaging parables of life; seeing them perform their wicked deeds isn't simply a bit of a thrill to the story, it's truly heartbreaking to watch. Such villains would include Scar, Honest John and Gideon, Frollo, Cinderella's stepmother and pretty much all of Dumbo's circus.

Of course, some moustache-twitching villains and highly theatrical devils are just so plain spectacular and embodying of evil that they are frankly just wonderful. Maleficent, Cruella De Vil, Chernabog and Jafar are all good examples of this. And everyone loves a comic villain, like the Queen of Hearts and Captain Hook. :p

I've always loved that picture you posted, CampbellzSoup. Partly because Medusa's in it--she's horribly underused in these things.

My favorite villains would be Ursula, Lady Tremaine, Dr. Facilier, and Hades, all for different reasons. Oh, and, yes, the other elephants from Dumbo are some of their best "antagonists." :)

The Coachman- creepy bastard that knows first rule of how to scare the fuck out of you. He also likes to send little boys..i mean donkeys, to the catholic priests.

follow by these:
Chernabog- the real devil incarnted. Malificant is a silly bitch. overrated whore.

Frollo- wants Emeralda's pussy so badly. I admire a man with such awe-aspiring dedication.

Gaston- A real man. Knows how treat women correctly. His goal to put Belle back in the kitchen is fantastic and honorable.

Frollo is my favourite, no question. But I also love Maleficent, Hades, Shan Yu, The Coachman, and Madam Mim.

Uncle Remus - He's got to be the evilest dude in the whole Disney library. Why do you think they haven't released his movie yet - he's evil!

Headless Horseman - He's just cool. No other villian can throw a flaming pumpkin like he can.

The Horned King - He's cool. He's obscure in the disney library. Thus He doesn't get his due. Why is it that every time I see the Horned King on screen I get the feeling a chest buster's gonna pop out of him.

Jafar is my ultimate favorite!

Maleficent, Captain Hook, Frollo, Hades and Ursula are the other villains I like the most.

1. Jafar- Scheming, manipulative, and overall treachous. He can shape-shift and be both funny and evil.

2. Scar- From his cold personatlity to his Shakespearn motives, he even turns on his henchmen (to his disadvantage).

3. Cruella De Vil- Flamboyant and crazy, she always steals the scene. And who could forget her devil face?
Say no to moldy, disgusting crackers!

You know, when I first heard his song ('The Oogie Boogie Song'?) on a Disney CD, I thought it was so cool! It became an instant favorite of mine. So in my mind, I had build up a fantastic villain. Then when I saw the movie, it was a big disappointment. I thought his design was very generic and unoriginal. Bummer!

It won't surprise you that I completely agree with you! And it gives me an excuse to post this one again:

hmm... i pretty much like all of the villains. yzma is up there... she cracks me up everytime.

the one who really scares me, as much as an adult can be scared, is the horned king. out of all disney villains, he is the ultimate. i think its the lack of a definaed face.
big kid at heart

For the sake of the season, I think I can safely say I like them all. Even the Frank Welker-voiced Joanna from The Rescuers Down Under. Why? Good animation? (Well, good color at least, and those eyes...) :D

My favourite is Ursula.
I love her personality and her design.
Plus Pat Carroll singing Poor Unfortunate Souls is just fabulous!

Maleficent, Scar and Dr. Facilier are, in my opinion, the best Disney villains of all time. Maleficent is the best though, because she is powerful than any other villains. You don't mess with her.
