Help me out here, bro

Hey, I need ya help out here.

I'm working on landscape and environment background designs for my personal series.(duster knows what I'm talking about here). Anyway I trying to research up architecture of various civilizations for my series.

In my series there is an alien planet who's race are humanoid looking like us but with differences. There's two race:
One that look like beautiful young Scandinavians people with blonde hair and blue eyes,

and the more exotic and dark skinned people with blonde hair and blue eyes.

for the white ones, their clothing, culture, and architecture are influence design of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese,

while the dark skin are influence of Mayan/Aztecs, ancient Egypt, ancient India, African, and middle eastern.


So i was think and thought of these three movie I could get some research off: Mulan, Road to El Dorado, and Prince of Egypt.

Does any of you guys know a fantastic site where i can few screencaps of the architecture in the movies or pictures of concept arts from them?


Also if any of you know any good video games who's setting is from any of the civilization mention above, that would also be great and helpful('m looking at you ajmrowland)

The two-disc DVD for Mulan has a gallery devoted to landscapes and architecture, though I don't know if screencaps for them are available online.

I only know of Magical Screencaps for good Mulan screencaps.

I know you are asking us in case we know of specific places, but, I'm just saying but I'm sure you already know, that typing the words "aztec" or any civilization with the words "movie" or "video game" in Google will lead to some results. Then those movies you find plus others like "Mulan" and "Road to El Dorado" and the word "screencaps" in Google will yield results.

Other than that, I do wnat to say if it's an alien race, I would think the reason they would look like any previous human race is because it is inevitable that even foreign beings that are anything like us would also look somewhat like us. But other than that I think you should use your own imagination the most because they would also be so, so different.

I went there already for mulan. Didn't have the right shots I was looking for. I'm going to take Escapy's suggestion and look through the 2 disc dvd which I have. Thanks both btw.

yeah did try some of that. might do that again.

While it's true that in majority of fiction that is case. I did this specifically for sake of it. I have created numerous different alien races. some might make your head explode. But these two earthlings-looking races despise the earthlings anyway.

But other than that I think you should use your own imagination the most because they would also be so, so different.

Oh trust me, I certainly DO do that. You should see the other aliens and such I made. But again i do draw influence from numerous things.
