Playhouse Disney?

Post by James »

Can anyone tell me if these TV shows, shown on the childrens channel "Playhouse Disney", are actually Disney-

Stanley
Rolie Polie Olie
The Wiggles
Jojo's Circus
Bear in the Big, Blue House

I'm sure that there is more that I've forgotten, but I just wanted to post this before I forgot about it. I'm just a bit curious about whether they're legitimately Disney.

I know that Bear in the Big Blue House was bought by Disney when they bought the Muppets from Jim Henson Productions.

Stanley and JoJo's Circus are released by Buena Vista Home Video, so I guess that they are Disney too.

Sorry, but I can't help with the others.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Well of course I know that, but are they actually made by Disney?
Another additon to the list is Rainbow Fish. I don't know if its on any of the various Disney Channels in America, but in Australia its shown every Sunday in the Playhouse Disney programming block, in the morning, on the only Disney Channel.

That's again- not what was asked.

I was actually wondering this myself. It doesn't seem like any of them were developed and made by Disney for Disney, but hey, maybe they were. I'd be surprised though.

I don't think that The Wiggles and Bear in the Big Blue House are Disney, but you can never rule out the possibility of them actually being Disney.

URGENT NEWS-
Bear in the Big, Blue House might actually be Disney!
On the cover of one of the four forthcoming June DVDs, the Bear logo says "Disney's Bear in th Big Blue House"! And in the corner of the cover art its has the Disney DVD logo - gasp!
I don't know if the other three DVDs are Disney, but I'm assuming not, as on the TV Shows on DVD website it hasn't got the cover art for the DVDs(Disney would've released the cover art at the same time, considering that they are released on the same date) and when reading the list of DVD releases for the show, it says that after the title of the DVD (can't remember the name of it) in brackets that its Disney.

I found out that the title that I mentioned of Bear in the Big Blue House is called 'Visiting the doctor with Bear'. And one of the other DVDs released that day is Disney as well; it has the logo of Disney DVD in the corner, and the logo of the show has Disney in it, as does the other DVD. This the second DVD to be discovered as Disney is called 'Early to bed, Early to rise'.
