Disney treasures OOP Will they ever be rereleased?

Post by braves23 »

Does anyone know when or if the disney treasures tins from the past years will come back into print? Or are these just a one time chance at these movies?

Well, I know that the Disney Club has the Walt Disney Treasure Tins Wave 1 and 2.
Also you could get them at ebay or maybe Costco or other stores that have DVD might have the Walt Disney Treasure Tins Wave 1 and 2.
Wal-Mart or Boarders might have them even at the mail.

The Walt Disney Treasure Tins Wave 1 and 2 were re-released last year.
But I don't know if they will be re-released again since Wave 3 is coming this Tuesday they might have Wave 1 and 2.

I really know that The Disney Store has it.

I'm not a member so I really think after you finish your commitment you could order the Walt Disney Treasure Tins Wave 1 and 2 but I'm not 100% sure.

Treasures

Post by deadstone »

Hi,

the Wave #1 & Wave #2 that you can find in stores and online are just
left over ones...

But the were not re-released. Costco had a set without tins that' all.

Disney always maintains that the Tins were limited...the content was not.

So if you don't want to buy them off Ebay and can't find them anywhere, the chances are that sooner or later the content will be re-released, but without Tins...

Happy Shopping

Some of these boxes where rather limited interest so I would not bet anything on that all will be re-released.

The Davy Crockett movies from the first wave will be re-released as seperate discs though.

Well I'm a member over at Laughing Place and some of the posters there work within the company and they heard around the campfire that they will be released sans tins.

Think it's true? And when?

Maybe they'll all be censored since they won't be "collector's edition"

That was the Costco set, the treasures sans tins in a box.

Waves 1 & 2 I believe are still available at Disney Movie Club. Of course you have to be a member to purchase them, but you do not have to have met your purchase requirement. I don't know how DMC works with international customers, or if they do at all... :?

They are in tins. You do have to each wave as an entire set. You can't buy just one. It ends up being a little over $200 if your purchase both sets. But well worth it if you want to have them all.

I noticed :(...I'm just going to look on other sites. I'm not necessarily looking for tins... If someone knows where I can get the costco boxed set, please let me know :) Besides ebay that is... I dont want to risk that much money on ebay

Besides tins, the Costco set is missing some stuff inside the pack (but disc contents are the same)
