Good news for me
My on the front lines dvd shipped priority mail from DVDempire this past friday. As for Amazon I checked my order and it now has switched to shipping soon! (mickey and donald) I hope they ship it out tomorrow morning. At least I know now that Amazon has not sold out of its stock yet and have put my discs together to ship it out. Im not sure about what costcos doing but if they pulled it from their website its probably sold out of their preorder stock.

I ordered the 3 animated Treasures from Amazon in early August. This morning they prepared shipment on MMILC2 & OTFL but CD is still in processing. I called & the CR told me that they would ship separately & that it was probably because the 3rd Treasure probably wasn't in stock yet. After reading this thread I think I'll make another call to Amazon.

I placed my order last September at Amazon. If I were you, I would email Amazon, as I put a flame on them by asking them why is it taking so long to get my order. When I sent that email all of sudden my status went to shipping soon. Email them and ask them why its taking so long to get your order since you placed it early last year. Thats what I did. Although my order states I wont get my sets till June 4th I know they overestimated since theyll ship it tomorrow it takes 5 to 7 days. I live in the U.S. by the way. Woops didnt realize you were getting half your order, it could be that either the other didnt come in yet at the warehouse closest to you or Amazon has sold out of their first shipment & is expecting a second one? Who knows, but I would email them.indianajdp wrote:Here's what my order status reflects:

What do you guys advise I do? The big 3 are "shipping soon" but tomorrowland isn't. I emailed them and asked them if they'll have it and they just said that they don't have it in stock and that its "first come first serve". I ordered recently so I am really worried. Is the demand really high for it? YOu think that they will be able to fufill orders?

I really dont know what to tell you, but if you placed the order recently remember other people ordered that set before you. It is the least printed set out of the four (Tomorrowland). Also two other websites I think DVDempire and DVDpacific cancelled Tomorrowland as well as Costco because they didnt have enough to place the orders. I would be a bit concerned but if they dont ship it because it ran out of stock, I wouldnt be surprised.Ciaobelli wrote:What do you guys advise I do? I placed my order for the Tomorrowland DVD in September, but it still says "Items Not Yet Shipped" on Amazon.ca. Because I got a little worried by reading all the messages here, I placed another order today for this set on DVDSoon.com and it seems it already switched from the "Pending" to the "Packaging" stage in a few hours time.

I ordered all 4 from Amazon last september and got the email saturday that all 4 have been shipped out. With the free shipping I expect they will arrive anywhere from wednesday to friday. Even though the free shipping states 5 to 9 business days I've never had to wait more than 5 days to get an order from Amazon.
Nothing's Forgotten...Nothing is ever Forgotten
Well...I ordered all four sets way back on August 8th - and Amazon still has not started processing the sets for shipment. They are "due" to be shipped on the 19th.
I live in Vancouver, WA - close to Portland, OR.
But, I planned to buy an extra set as gifts - so I'll just buy them on Tuesday the 18th at my local Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc. and let the Amazon copies be for gifts.
I'll bug Amazon after the 19th if they still haven't started processing the sets for shipment.

All four Treasures arrived at my office on Friday after I left, so I'm only just now getting to look at them.
First off, the tins themselves to be of lesser quality than the previous waves. Two of mine have dents on the top edge, but they appear to have been made during manufacture.
The cases are also flimsy. The spindles in two of the cases arrived broken, and Disc 1 in every set was not secured; my copy of "On the Front Lines" is so badly scratched that I need to contact Disney DVD Support or the retailer. In fact, I want to look closely at all eight discs to make sure there are no other scratches. I need to find replacement cases as well.
The tins were all packaged securely, so I imagine a lot of this happened during manufacture or transport from wholesaler to retailer.
I guess this is the price I pay for having received them early.

I ordered mine from Amazon on August 31. Amazon still says "Not yet shipped" and shipping estimate is for May 19. If they don't get shipped soon or at least say that my order will soon ship, someone is going to get yelled at, especially with all of these other orders starting to get processed.
BTW, my shipping date used to be set for December, but I changed my shipping method and that updated the ship date for my order reflecting the actual release date of the Treasures. (I did that a couple months ago)
