And with as many gays that are on this forum, it's seems as if you were expecting some kind of defense to protect yourself if someone gave (in your mind) a wrong answer, or even "attacked you." I totally disagree with your tactics, but will give you this, very well played. You've set it up that if no one can say "no" without being run through and called "homophobic."
How would this be any different if there was only one gay person on this forum, and the general atmosphere allowed you to say things like, "Ew, no. Gays are gross. This is no difference from bestiality" (already said, actually). The only reason you don't like this 'tactic' is because, at the moment, you're in the minority. I wonder how that
would feel.
The only thing else I would say is that being gay is not about politics. In the same way that a guy kissing his girlfriend is not a political statement. Also, btw, I'm pretty sure Disney stock has plummeted low enough the past 15 years already. But it would be like you to blame something like that on a gay movie they might do in the (far) future.
(more in general, to the topic and not to one person): I do agree, as I've said before, that this topic is fairly pointless. But it's funny to see people annoyed when they can't post narrow-minded things anymore without a backlash. Makes me think of the recent Dr. Laura controversy, and how she wants "her first amendment rights back." The fact is, you're free to say whatever you want. But everyone else can reply however they want, too. Freedom of speech is annoying that way. And a discussion board---leads to discussion? Shocker!
Also, I've already realized that lesbians would be the easiest way to go, if they first ever did this. Because women are essentially just sex objects (made to please men;

) and women viewers have and will always be much more sympathetic. Reason I have next to no straight guy friends--just because they're really uncomfortable to be around.
Though, personally, I haven't met many heterosexual women who "find it interesting" to watch other girls kiss. They are sympathetic, yes, but only guys get off on stuff like that (and I've known many more heterosexual women who kiss other girls to attract
men--not because they get anything inherently pleasurable out of doing so). Straight porn is mostly made for men, remember? That's where this myth came from. And, tbh, with anime, I've seen more "official" yaoi than I ever have of the lesbian equivalent, yuri. (and, usually, when it is, there's almost always yaoi somewhere else in the series, too)
