I wish you didn't have to be a member that sucks :/goofystitch wrote:I had mentioned about a year ago that I saw a preview of the 3D version of Beauty and the Beast at the D23 Expo and that when I saw it the colors appeared to be the same as the Platinum Edition. That was with the 3D glasses on, which obviously darken the colors. So it makes sense that the colors shown in the video for the 3D version are even brighter than the Platinum Edition, but trust me. When you see it with the glasses, they look about the same.
Also to those who liked last year's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with the book box set, Disney Movie Club has pretty much the same thing for Beauty and the Beast as a club exclusive. It's up for pre-order Here.

Agreed. I would rather them not make that a DMC exclusive.Want2beBelle wrote:I wish you didn't have to be a member that sucks :/goofystitch wrote:I had mentioned about a year ago that I saw a preview of the 3D version of Beauty and the Beast at the D23 Expo and that when I saw it the colors appeared to be the same as the Platinum Edition. isnt there only one Movie Club? I mean, the book will be blu-ray exclusive.
personally, I'll just wait until somebody scans all the pages and posts them here (they better
)
I mean, not only do I already have the preorder, but PINK!!!!?? Nothing against that color, but for this movie. I mean, only a Little "Princess" will associate the two.

Lol I tried joining and it gave me an option of either inquiring about the blu-ray or DVD membership even though it's the same club. So, you basically have to fufill either one. I want to make sure I don't do the DVD one and then be stuck and not be able to get the b&tb exclusive kwim?ajmrowland wrote:isnt there only one Movie Club? It's really hard to tell, since every time a bit of footage of BatB is released, it looks slightly different from the one before. The 2002 version was crammed onto a disc, along with the branched stuff from the special edition, the workprint, and several other things, so it doesn't look as good as it should have. But the trailers that have been available, even for the IMAX version looks different from the 2002, which was way too red and bright, so I think it'll turn out all right.miniroll32 wrote:In that case then, since both the 2002 and 2010 versions have come from digital masters, they should be literally 95% the same with only the Blu-Ray tech attributes enhancing the colour slightly. The only reason the VHS looks so poor is because the the limited fidelity - it was exactly the same with Toy Story too.
I would use decent spelling, myselfminiroll32 wrote:"...stfu abotu original intention jesus..."
That was pretty much uncalled for. If you're not going to be mature enough to write a constructive criticism (with descent spelling), please don't reply
