I still prefer the UK cover though the German (and US?) one is still lovely. The Fantasia 2000 one needs to be redone, though. The new airbrushed image of Mickey is still clashing with the promo stills.

There may still be hope, though. Look at the spine of Fantasia 2000. That's, as far as I can tell, an entirely new airbrushed image of Donald. Perhaps the Fantasia 2000 artwork has yet to be finalized, and the final cover will better match the original's, placing Donald in the center. Let's see.

They're basically just saying that the both films will be released on November 4th as Special Editions and are available for preorder on amazon.de now.
I'm a member of this site and relayed the information actually already, so it's nothing new.^^

I'm so happy that we finally have a release date confirmed. I was starting to get worried that we'd have another Dumbo-type situation on our hands here in the US.

The news about "The Fantasia Anthology" is absolutely awesome! I noticed too it said '4 discs' for Fantasia and '2 discs' for F2K. I'm quite surprised at this, because the German tech info said their release was only 2 disc, which would be a Blu-ray and DVD copy of the film. And that would explain why its only a Special Edition.

But this 'Anthology' must have exclusive discs? I agree with the former comment - it must be a Blu-ray for the film, the extras disc, a dvd copy and then a Digital Copy. F2K would just be Blu-Ray and DVD.

Now we just need to know if this is coming outside the U.S. On Play.com and Amazon, we only have info regarding separate releases.

Edit: I think we've actually misread it. The information on the left side highlights two different versions; the Special Edition Blu-Ray (4 disc) and S.E DVD (2 disc). Therefore, it must be suggesting that the S.E Blu-Ray is the combo pack, so the discs would be 2 x Blu-Ray's and 2 x DVD copies of the films.

Not only was it just £12.39 at the point of ordering (which can't go any higher, thanks to Amazons price guarantee), but its a Diamond Edition!

Thanks Disney and Amazon! That was cheaper than Dumbo too But lets just hope that doesn't mean there's less content.... With it being a Diamond Edition, that surely guarantees a separate extras disc. Man I'm so happy! Shame Germany's is only a Special Edition though, wonder if that has any impact on the product?

Shame there's no combo pack available yet, but I've ordered this single edition just to be sure. Screw Play.com - they're more expensive too!

By the way, it seems like were getting this earlier than the U.S. Our date is still 8th November, so maybe thats why Amazon.com hasn't been updated yet, if you guys are on for 30th? Either way, I'll be sure to give feedback

@UK-buyers: Don't wanna to bust your bubble, but these Cover don't look official. I really doubt there will be a diamond edition release anywhere on the world (and believe me I would wish, so I could import it, but I don't see this coming).

I don't mind the 2 movies in one! As long as I have them in my collection, and it is coming this year!!! So excited!! So happy UD finally got some US news on it!!
