Statistics
*All parks, save for Hong Kong, have had stern-wheel riverboats. Except for Walt Disney World, they were all dubbed the Mark Twain. Also in contrast to WDW, they all opened with their respective parks.
*At WDW, the riverboat is called the Liberty Belle. Prior to a remodel in 1996, however, it was called the Richard F. Irvine (after a WED Enterprises executive), although guides have call it the Liberty Square Riverboat. It opened in 1973, two years after the rest of the park.
*WDW opened (well, it actually opened a day after the rest of the park) with a different riverboat called the Admiral Joe Fowler (after another Disney executive). It was a side-wheeler, the same as the Molly Brown riverboat at Disneyland Paris.

Are these like real riverboats, or scaled down versions? Honestly, I've seen these in real life when visiting the parks. But I don't know for sure.

No, they're not real riverboats. The Mark Twain was built to 5/8 scale.
