Coronas are a solar phenoma, named from the Latin word for Crown. The same goes for the beer's name, also coming from the Latin word. They share the same original meaning - 'crown', that's as far as the comparison between the two goes.
Corona is a plant structure that is most commonly found among Passifloraceae, also known as Passion Flowers. These are Flowers that are extremely colorful and rich with nectar.
Geeh, I wonder if that could refer to the flower that gave Rapunzel magical powers?
not to mention the optical phenomenon already mentioned and the crown definition. Corona isn't just a beer. can we move on now?
