Who are the Five People you will meet in Heaven?

Post by avonleastories95 »

This thread really speaks for itself. It is just like the book. You just have tell me what your Heaven will be like and who are the five people you will meet there? I only ask two things of you if you wish to post. You must specifically know the person and they must have an effect on your life. Please explain why you chose these people. Anyway, I will start.

My heaven is a beach, with a beautiful landscape of sea and stars in the sky. I live at a House that is close to this Beach. It is like a palace. The inside looks like a palace from Russia. There is a TV and VHS players in my Heaven. There are also beautiful White forests with Trees that are as black as ebony (Hey, the forest is just like Snow White, I just realized that!). Outside, there is no such thing as Wind Chill or Heat Index. The air will just be and feel like the temperature that is on the gauge. And there is no war or hunger in my Heaven!

My ten people (Five from the board, and five from my actual life)(I am just going to list them) are:
1. My Mother
2. My Father
3. Mrs. Greenberg
4. Aunt Joanne
5. Mrs. Smith
6. blackcauldron85
7. Escapay
8. Lazario
9. UmbrellaFish
10. alanticaunderthesea

Now that's a great idea - don't know if I can remember ever hearing before. That Heaven can be whatever the hell you want it to be. Sounds like it should be something everyone preaches. A lot more attractive than just: White Cloud World where everyone floats in white hospital-type gowns / robes. That's like torture. Like The Yellow Room in The Masque of the Red Death.

Of course, there might not be one. But there's nothing wrong with fantasizing. Is there already a thread on this sort of thing? It might be cool to talk about all the things we would like Heaven to be. Were it possible to exist.

1. My "Soulmate" (if I know who that is, it isn't conscious and if I have one and don't know who, I haven't met him yet)
2. All the friends I made in my school years and lost touch with
3. All former pets
4. All the people online I thought were cool but never met
5. Celebrities I thought were cool but never met

The Five People You Meet in Heaven

Wait, avalon, white forests with trees black as ebony? So do you mean...with white leaves? Or snow? This was a wonderful idea for a game, I also must say!

Laz, well, as far as I know no religion really says what Heaven is. They even say anything about clouds and the sky might mentioned in the Bible may not be as literal as we think.

Anyway, my Heaven would probably be like Earth but everything I'm okay with it being and the impossible things I want it to be. if I wanted, I could go to the sky with pink and blue and purple swirly clouds, and I could have a purple crystal palace there and a tiki home at some island and a chateau in France, to change where I lived every once in a while. And whatever I wanted to change, if I wanted any change, would change right away. There would be a lot of orange sunlight during the day, and a blue purple greeness at night.

Everyone I know and love would be in Heaven, but:

1. My soul mate/true love (whoever that is)
2. My best, most understanding of me friend
3. My mom
4. My dad
5. My guinea pigs and other pets and family and friends and all I know and love

I meant both for the description of Heaven! I also forgot to write that the forest, like in The Emperor's Nightingale stretches as far as the beach (or sea, whatever, they are basically the same thing!). Your description of Heaven sounds lovely, DisneyDuster. It makes it seem as if I were right there with you! Your people sound great, too! As do yours, Lazario. As for you, Heaven can be anything you want it to be! It can even be your worst nightmare, but that is strecthing out too far. Thank you both for the compliment! I was going to put it in the Off-Topic thread, but something inside me wanted me to post it in the Polls and Games board.

Hmm... This is hard. The concept of heaven has always been a confusing one for me. Just for fun (I guess, more of a fantastical paradise)-

Woods. Woods in Autumn with the leaves on the ground. Never too sunny, never too dark. Always sort of the middle time of the day. The weather goes by my whim. Rain is seldom and brief, but lovely to listen to. Snow is occasional, and doesn't melt to mush. It sort of magically disappears. And after any sort of percipitation, the ground is dry (if I want it to be, that is) and warm.

Not far from the woods would be an expansive grassland. Completely desolate, and I would just sit in the grass and daydream. The grassland then turns to a sandy beach, with warm, beautiful blue waters and fantastic sea creatures, like dolphins and sea stars and mermaids.

If I wanted it to be, there would be night. But it would be the sort of night you see in picture books where the sky is dark blue, not pitch black, and there would be a million stars in the heavens, and I'll have created the constellations. When I wanted the night to be over, it would go right back to the middle of the day.

As for my home, it would be wonderful. Like magic. It would sort of change as I change. One day it could be Versailles. The next Atlantica. The next day a log cabin. Anything, anything I wanted. And the rooms would be different and magnificent. A theatre would be a must, with a play going on all the time, performed by the original Broadway, West End, and Globe cast.

I'd have a library, a large, huge library with every book ever published- every novel written, everything ever written on paper, on stone, on papyrus. Everything. And I could find anything I wanted by just thinking about it. Of course, I could discover new things by browsing the shelves.

I'd also have a movie theatre where I could watch any movie I pleased in the best quality possible- forget restorations.

Most importantly, ever day would be new and different. I'd be writing, and it wouldn't be as hard to write in my Heaven as it is to write on Earth. Everything would just flow...

As for the people I'd meet, well, for artists you've got Julie Andrews and Walt Disney, of course, and Blake Edwards. Also, Carol Burnett, Audrey Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, Roddy McDowall, Charlton Heston, Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Princess Grace, Kathy Griffin, Chelsea Handler, Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, Natalie Wood, Marilyn Monroe, Gordon MacRae, Roald Dahl, William Shakespeare, GB Shaw, Oscar Wilde, HC Andersen, Greg Weisman, Mary Pope Osborune... The list goes on.

For historical figures there's Marie Antoinette, Mary Queen of Scots, Queen Elizabeth I, King Henry V, Washington, Ben Franklin, Pocahontas, John Rolfe, Martin Luther, Martin Luther King, Jr and obviously, that list could go on, too.

Family-wise, my mother, my father, my two sisters, all my grandparents, and my great-grandmother. Those are the people in my family I'm closest to. I'm not necessarily sure I'm looking for love, certainly not now. If I did, yes, that person would be there, too. I know someday I want children (Julia Madeline and Eric Gregory), adopted or otherwise, so they would be there as well.

Forum friends, most certainly. I won't mention anybody on UD in case I forget someone. From another, now debunk site, probably Plutopup and TheAlienStitch, along with an assortment of others whose nicknames I've forgotten.

For friends, we'd have to be the same as when we were the closest. In order of how I met them, it would be Jessie, Erica, Austin A, Josh, Taylor, Lindsay, Nick, Dieter, Andrew, Austin B, Jerome, Ben, Tyler, Drew G, Drew L and a whole bunch of others.

Also, teachers who helped me/I liked. That'd be Mrs. Bragg, Mrs. Atkinson, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Allen, and Mrs. Sanders.

And now I shall leave... lol

I would want to see:

Max and Lucy (my former dogs)
My first's husband (may he rest in peace)
Phil Hartman (film actor)
Ambrose Pierce (author)
John Lennon

There are obviously many more, but these ones are unfortunately the only ones I can think of, many have sadly died, so that is why I said that.

Thank you avon! Yours sounded very lovely too, and very unique.

UmbrellaFish, well, have it all why don't you! You didn't have to name almost everything and person you could think of! Just kidding! That all sounds fantastic, and some of it wistfully wonderful and peaceful. I couldn't imagine it always beeing the middle of the day and never morning, though! And I actually like the black night. People really do have different souls that like different things.
