Just a curiosity, but what if Toy Story 3 reaches the billion dollar mark worldwide? Maybe then, not only it is the highest grossing movie in all Pixar films, but also the first computer animated movie in the world to reach the billion dollar mark worldwide. Just a thought, because I believe it is starting to do better, especially when Pixar has developed a good story to go along with the animation.

Ugh, I posted this in the DVD/Blu-ray thread vs. the general discussion...oopsies. But, really, you saw it 8 times?!?!
Yes I did =D And I'd go see it again too. It's the movie I've seen the most times in theaters (beating out Two Towers and Return of the King, both of which I saw 7 times lol)
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Seems legit to me. Dang, I knew we shouldn't count on Disney being consistent with their releases. But hey, at least I called the shot (pun intended) that was used :).

And thanks for the compliments, guys.

Some other fans have pointed out something I didnt notice; Mr. Potatohead is missing his left arm there. also the fact that stretch, a character who had like 2 lines is on the box. why put such a minor character there over someone like, say, twitch or chunk?

Also why does Mrs Potato Head have both her eyes at Sunnyside. Personally I'd like to see Big Baby on the cover as well.

I thought the same thing too. Why Stretch and none of Lotso's other henchmen? lol

Covers aren't ment to be canon really, if your going to question the eye thing you might as well ask why Woody is happy while at sunnyside. I'm sure she just has both eyes because it looks good. Maybe they thought it would be distracting.

The Digital Bits has posted the same cover art, and I consider them a reliable source, so I say it's real

I think Mr. Potato Head's arm is in there; well, just his hand is. It is hidden behind the Disney blu-ray logo.

I love the cover for the 2 Bluray disc edition (the one I'm getting)

Disney, you better use the same cover for the UK edition or make
the US discs region free

I'm not sure which cover I like more lol. But I guess it doesn't matter, it's the movie behind the cover that matters ;) Still, it would've been nice if the cover was similar to Toy Story 1 and 2, for continuity's sake. I dunno what color they could've made it, and I guess they'd have Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and Lotso on it. Oh well, hopefully Buzz will be on one of the sides of the spine *crosses fingers*

It's definitely going to be a day one purchase for me. It'd be nice if the store I work at has the combo pack but I have a feeling they'll just have the 2-disc Blu-ray which means I'm gonna have to make a trip to the mall for the combo pack lol.

YES! My dream came true. Truly epic cover, but I wish they were switched around, since I usually get combo packs. Darn.

I wonder if the Bonus: The Gang's All Here, Toys! Epilogue is going to be what played during the credits, just without the credits and a bigger picture (which would be fine with me and it's what I'm expecting) or something completely new.

So, wait, there isn't even an audio commentary on the DVD? This is ridiculous.

I agree with Margos and Disneyboy I'll purchase the 2 disc for the sake of continuaty of my dvd collection, then again folks, Disney might release a package set with all 3 TS films. I might not cave in to the Package set due to it being redunat yet I might purchase it for my lil nephews.

Also I'm disappointed bout the lack of a in depth Makin Of feature and the extremely important audio commentary, really wanted to hear John Lasseter and company discuss the triology, the 3rd film's production and such.

The covers are fricken awesome yet I was expecting the same cover design as the 10th/5th aniv of TS/TS2's but these will do fine.

I'm actually pleased with the DVD bonus features. Will the DVD alone and the combo pack's DVD be the same...??? Or am I getting my hopes up about all those bonus features being on the stand-alone DVD?
