Patricia Neal was the original Olivia Walton in The Homecoming, the TV movie that led to The Waltons.

I most remember Patricia Neal from the original The Day The Earth Stood Still in which she co-starred with Michael Rennie.

A wonderful actress, who overcame a lot to become one of our beloved favorites.

Another shining Hollywood star now graces the heavens.

I'll always remember her as 2E/Mrs. Failenson from Breakfast at Tiffany's, though she had a wide range of films on her resume (the aforementioned The Day The Earth Stood Still, and other classics like Hud and The Fountainhead).
