in the summer it storms like crazy with wind...EVERY SINGLE DAY....lightning...serious rain...but it stops about 30-45 mins later....great tip for tourists....cause when this happens every single time....at disney....all the tourists leave when it rains thinking it will continue....but it stops so fast....and then theres no lines!!! so plan to eat between 3-5 and when youre finished after the storm theres no lines!!! HAHA I HAVE ONE UP!!! hope this paragraph made sense.

Name change for Disney Dining Experience card
by John Frost

I no longer use the Disney Dining Experience card, but I’m still on the the mailing list for some reason. It’s no big deal because now I know that on the occasion of the 13th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Disney will be switching to a new name for the Disney Dining Experience.

The festival, which will take place from September 26 – November 9, 2008 will celebrate Cities in Wonderland, and following that theme, the dining club will be renamed “Tables in Wonderland” as of September 15, 2008.

This new name will not alter any current benefits. But it will help distinguish the card membership from other dining privileges at Walt Disney World Resort that bares a similar name to the Disney Dining Experience.

I can testify that it has been a source of confusion for many. But I have to wonder about the program name. Disney has never really branded their WDW Resort under the “Wonderland” name. Instead they’ve reserved that for specific events.

The Walt Disney World resort has launched its new online Advanced Dining Reservation system, (ADR) allowing guests to browse restaurants, view full-color menus in PDF format, and make reservations up to 90 days in advance.
Previously available exclusively to travel agents, the new system joins WDW's existing telephone reservation system — reachable at 407-WDW-DINE — and also allows for online cancellations. The ADR system also provides suggestions for alternate meal times if the guest's requested time is unavailable, offers reservations for restaurants in the parks, in the company's resort hotels, and select locations in Downtown Disney, Disney's Boardwalk, and the Wide World of Sports.

The Walt Disney World Online Advanced Dining Reservation system is available via the US website only, and can be accessed at disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/.
