Please post messages you're getting and when you received them. I'll share them with my host and try to get this figured out. The site has been down for a few minutes here and there, but that doesn't sound like what you are describing.

Important!

Post by JiminyCrick91 »

It's been more than without being to get on to the site. I'm at school now so I don't know if it's working at home yet but still... for a little more than a week when I try to go to UltimateDisney.com or DVDizzy.com I get nothing but a 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' message. My self and aonther person with the same error message have tried to alert other UDers to fix this for us via the Facebook page but have had no answer but to each other. Please help us!

Just saw your messages there now. So sorry about these difficulties. I've put an e-mail into my host and hopefully they can help.

And in the unlikely event that someone can see this post but not get on from another location, can you please open up an MS-DOS command prompt type in "tracert dvdizzy.com" (from the computer that can't access the site), copy and paste those results in an e-mail to me.

Host did something that should fix this. It might take a few hours. Let me know if you still aren't able to access it; hold onto my e-mail address or grab it from a front page cache. Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention. I never would have known otherwise.

Awesome. And thanks for letting me know. Sorry I didn't see your Facebook posts for several days. I can only imagine how many were in the same boat as you guys, who didn't bother to try to tell me.

And, just for the record, this issue... not my fault! I swear!

Must have been related to our location in Ontario.

I've gotta say though, it's good to be back.

Thanks for fixing it for us!

Perhaps your hiatuses were too short to call for this, but what the heck, I can't resist:

^I got a few of those, when I was trying to post. After that, the whole UD/DD forum was down for a bit.

Was that today? How long would you say that you noticed it being down for?

Yeah, that was right before I posted that, it seemed like it was going on at least 5 minutes. After that I stopped trying for a bit, and when I came back to post the error message, it was working fine. When I said the whole forum was down, I meant the only thing I got was the PHP error message.

Yesterday I got this message again, but it only happened once, so I didn't post about it:

Posted: Thu Jun 10, 2010 8:09 am Post subject:
Lately, I've been getting a lot of these messages:

Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.dvdizzy.com

Suggestions:

Access a cached copy of www. dvdizzy. com/ forum/

Search on Google:

And right now, I got this message for the first time:

*edit*

Okay, that above message just came up again- there must be something in the "Disney Brings Back the Muppets" thread causing this to happen...? And it's only when I press "Post reply"...?

I pulled Disneyboy's Cookie Monster GIF that was hosted on that site. Hopefully you shouldn't get the message anymore.

Am I right in reading that you got the "couldn't find the site" message just once and not several times as your pasted quote says?

Thanks for letting me know!

^ Yeah, my bad- I didn't realize that that line was there. But just once.

And thanks- I haven't retried the Muppet thread (I posted the news elsewhere), but when I do try it again, I'll post here if it still isn't working. :)

I got this message twice a short while ago:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

I was trying to edit a post, but it went to that message instead of going to my post to edit, and then I hit refresh for the page, and it came back, but then I typed in ultimatedisney.com and it worked...

Thanks for letting me know. Let me know if it continues or worsens.
