I'm obsessed with this song. One day on my Facebook status, I mentioned a Demi Lovato song, and my friend asked me if I'd heard this song, and I hadn't, but especially lately, I'm very obsessed with it. I'm going to buy the CD eventually, and I've been listening to it on YouTube for now...over and over and over and over again. I can't get enough of it:

Selena Gomez will premiere her brand new single, "Round and Round" on Radio Disney on June 18th. Two days later, the music video will be featured on Disney Channel. The single will be released digitally on June 22nd, and her second full length album will be in stores on September 28th.

Wow wow wow, I havent been on here in like a year?!?! I remember when i commented this forum daily.....sorry for my absence, been sorting myself out.....here is some new music that I'm sure everyone has by now heard, but just figure I'd post it for you guys
Selena Gomez and the Scene- Round and Round

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfcvO2t8Ntg
The lead single from Ms. Gomez's second album keeps in theme with her previous international hit Naturally and has peaked at 24 in the US. Her sophomore release is tentatively named "A Year Without Rain", and should do better than her first release, now that Demi has taken a bit of a break and Selena has her time to shine haha.
Kylie Minogue- All The Lovers and Get Outta My Way

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zixQYDeRtzI
The first single from Kylie's eleventh studio release is an easy-breezy dance-lite track that is easy to listen to, and typical Kylie. Much like tracks from her Light Years and Fever eras (arguably her best releases), Aphrodite features many tracks like All The Lovers and is debuting strongly around the world. Her second single is my personal favourite off the album, Get Outta My Way (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImCwZbtgtds). Great new songs from the Aussie songbird
Lady Gaga- Alejandro and other Monster tracks
http://i820.photobucket.com/albums/zz12 ... onster.png
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niqrrmev4mA
So by now, we all now if we love her or hate her. Her latest single Alejandro is a grower, and takes time to become a favourite, but i love it, along with most of the tracks from last Decembers 8 track EP "The Fame Monster". The video is really cool too, I love how it dabbles with the concepts of religion, homosexuality, army and sex, sick dancing too. Also listen to Dance In The Dark and Monster, I would love if either were released as singles, she has time for one more before her next album in March 2010.
Eminem- Not Afraid and Love The Way You Lie

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5-yKhDd ... re=related
Eminem has exploded back onto the scene with the lead single from her seventh studio album, Not Afraid. Debuting at no. 1, this track along with Rihanna assisted follow-up Love The Way You Lie have helped Recovery become the biggest album in the US this year so far. I think both are good tracks, I like how he's singing more now and has matured from creating crappy little annoying raps about farts and sex. Love The Way You Lie will most likely become more successful than its predecessor, slowly climbing up charts internationally, the video will premiere soon.
Katy Perry- California Gurls

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwE-SLnLkqY
The current no. 1 single worldwide, is a response to Alicia Keys and Jay-Z's 2009 hit Empire State of Mind, as Ms Perry promotes the fantastical elements of the West Coast. Off her second album, Teenage Dream, the former Christian singer offers more crazy, cute, and kooky tracks. With the cute and sexy video that channels Candyland, Willy Wonka and Alice in Wonderland, her album out August 24th should be abley supported.
Miley Cyrus- Can't Be Tamed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjSG6z_13-Q
Miss controversial, Destiny Cyrus, has achieved a lot in her recent rise to teen super stardom, but after 4 seasons and nearly 100 episodes (plus a film, numerous chart-topping albums, worldwide tours and TV appearances) as ficitional character Hannah Montana, Cyrus had a message for her public. As seen in the music video, Cyrus isn't a little girl anymore, and has shed the blonde wig to become the new age Britney Spears; a former Ms Disney shedding her image, clothes and younger fans in favour for eyeliner, boots, hotpants, and men. The new album featuring the titular single, is actually a HELL of a lot better than previous efforts, and she does offer some insight into her world. I think she has a good message to send to kids, despite what people think of her image, she's strong, independent, and doesn't cling to men; she has achieved what she wants and continued to love/further her art despite a string of relationships with Nick Jonas, Justin Gaston and Aussie beefcake, Liam Hemsworth. Listen to these tracks- Permanent December, Liberty Walk, Stay, Can't Be Tamed, Two More Lonely People, and My Heart Beats For Love.
Rihanna- Rated R

Te Amo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oe4Ic7fH ... PL&index=5
My favourite track off of her fourth album, Im surprised this song hasnt exploded (yet). A sexy sultry ballad (with just a hint of lesbianism), her vocals are vulnerable and with the accompanying smouldering video, shot in a French castle with a supermodel, the song should rise up the charts soon
Rockstar 101
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6DKjoef ... re=related
A more rock-inspired track, the fourth US single hasn't done well so far, even with a recent American Idol performance and following the mountain of success with Rude Boy. Featuring the iconic Slash, this track isn't as bad as people say. Hopefully with Te Amo, the string of previous top 10 hits from Rated R, her tour with Kesha, and her anthemic new track with Eminem (Love the Way You Lie- see above), this track may prove successful. The black and white video is a nice touch too. I love the storm scene.
Kelly Rowland- Commander

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwfKZ-1jyiw
Still attempting to find her sound, Ms Rowland delivers her best track in the form of lead single Commander. Rehashing the same sound/vibe as with 2009 summer smash "When Love Takes Over", Rowland teams with her mentor David Guetta again. From her third album, self-titled Kelly Rowland, this track may provide her with her first really huge hit, though she still trails behind Beyonce's anthems.
It's a really great track however, the video is by far her hottest and has charted very well worldwide. We'll see if it helps her album sales this time.
Alicia Keys- Unthinkable (I'm Ready) and Put It In A Love Song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nettjxJ4dNg
Following the dismal sales of singles Doesn't Mean Anything, Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart, yet trying to retain the success of the assisted cut Empire State of Mind, Alicia's fourth and fifth singles from her 4th album are both strong tracks. The Element of Freedom hasn't sold as well as previous albums, but hopefully these tracks help. Unthinkable is an amazing song, with background vocals by Drake, and with an amazing video starring Chad Michael Murray has done well in the US, charting at 21. Please listen and watch. Put It In A Love Song is a fun song with two hot chicks, and once the video is released, I'm sure Beyonce and Alicia will be back in the top ten. It has been filmed already (very smart, seeing as Ms Keys is now preggers), and has charted very well in Australia, certified gold already.
Hopefully I've kinda made up for my year of mis-adventure....I will most likely post more soon, including Kelis, Pixie Lott, Kesha and Christina Aguilera
