Not sure I could list all of my books in one place. I am a librarian after all, and books are in my blood.

For example, behind me sits about 20 distinct books on various Disney theme parks. In the other room, I have a collection of read and unread novels from Chuck Palahniuk to Cormanc McCarthy and a bit of Poe and Dante in between. Then there is my 'graphic novel' collection. Not to mention all the stuff I still store at my parent's place (hundreds and hundreds of books, including my treasured Poe and Dante - including a rare(ish) edition of Inferno with the Gustav Dore art).

Let's just say: lots...

On a related note, having fun on the iPhone with eBooks at the moment. Stanza, eReader and BeamItDown are all quite good...have H.G. Wells; Homer; F. Scott Fitzgerald and others all happening there. It's the future, man :)

ALL my books?? :o

How about I list a few favorite authors...

I mostly like Science Fiction/Fantasy, but I am a big fan of the Cat Who... mystery series by Lilian Jackson Braun, as well. I also like older mysteries like Ellery Queen & Erle Stanley Gardner, kid's books like the Hardy Boys, Tom Swift and Danny Dunn, and so on. I also have a lot of the classics - Little Men, Pinocchio, The War of the Worlds, The Three Musketeers, Robinson Crusoe, Treasure Island, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea...

In addition, I like non-fiction, on everything from holograms to sword-making... comic strip books (Garfield, Get Fuzzy, Calvin & Hobbes, etc.,) cookbooks, origami books, woodworking, guns, and so on.

Some authors I read voraciously:
Douglas Adams (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)
Lloyd Alexander (The Black Cauldron, among others)
Piers Anthony (the Xanth series, and more)
Isaac Asimov (I Robot, Foundation, etc - and his mystery stories, as well)
Robert Lynn Asprin (the Myth series, Phule's Company)
Lilian Jackson Braun (the Cat Who series)
Terry Brooks (Shannara, Magic Kingdom for Sale)
John Christopher (The White Mountains)
Eoin Colfer (Artemis Fowl, the Wish List)
John DeChancie (Castle Perilous)
Gordon R. Dickson (the Dragon series)
Carole Nelson Douglas (Midnight Louie series, Irene Adler mysteries, sci-fi, etc.)
Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes)
Alan Dean Foster (Pip & Flinx, many more)
Esther Friesner (Unicorn U., Majyk by Accident)
Randall Garret (The Lord D'Arcy magic-mysteries)
Harry Harrison (The Stainless Steel Rat, Bill the Galactic Hero)
Robert A. Heinlein (many: Starship Troopers, Red Planet, The Door into Summer, Citizen of the Galaxy, etc.)
H.M. Hoover (Children of Morrow)
L. Ron Hubbard (Battlefield Earth - ignoring the scientology stuff he did)
Brian Jacques (Redwall)
Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time series)
Kieth Laumer (Retief)
C.S. Lewis (Narnia)
Anne McCaffery (Dragonriders of Pern series, The Rowan, Acorna, Dinosaur Planet, etc.)
Terry Pratchett (Discworld)
Spider Robinson (Callahan's Crosstime Saloon)
J.K Rowling (Harry Potter)
J.R.R. Tolkien (Hobbit, Lord of the Rings)
David Weber (Honor Harrington series)

In addition, I like books based on licensed properties, like Star Trek, Star Wars, Dinotopia, Magic the Gathering, Robotech, and more.

Of course, that doesn't include the ~300-400 mangas, 50-100 graphic novels, and ~250 strategy guides for video games.

Wouldn't even want to take a shot at this, but I'll say this much:

I don't go much or fiction books (novels, I mean; children's books are okay, and definitely comics). Mainly, I like informational books, especially art books (particularly the more commercial stuff like art for films and from films, like Disney movies and such), and books on the unexplained/paranormal (still talking informational), and I like comics and graphic novels (mainly Disney and Star Wars, but I want to expand to the superhero stuff someday since I love the films and cartoon shows), and pin-up girl art books, and comic strip collections... I did read the Star Wars novels like crazy when they first started coming out, but then I could no longer keep up with the crazy amount they were releasing. I was starting on the Indiana Jones books then too, and I have all the ones from that time (though I think a couple more came out with the release of Crystal Skull. Those and the true classics (Huck Finn, Dracula, etc...) are the only ficton novels I really tend to like to waste my time on. In general, I'm a movie guy, and I really think the whole idea that books are somehow better and better for you than movies is ridiculous.
