What comes out after BATB?

Post by DARTH KNITE »

I'm just curious as to what the next movie releases are gonna be? Usually each DVD has a preview of the next releases, and I'm wondering what the new Beauty and the Beast one will advertise for. Any ideas?

If you look around the forum, it's not hard to find that Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 are the next Diamond Editions after Beast.

Also, that Bambi has been "confirmed" through BATB's website to be released in 2011. We could also assume Tangled's release in the Spring.

No need to be touchy. Thank you, I guess.

I think we are in store for some great releases in the near future! I am extremely excited for BATB, Fantasia/2000, and Bambi. The hard part is being patient!!

I've only just recently started "collecting," so this is my first time actually anticipating releases (instead of just picking them up months or even years after the fact). I have all but 3 or 4 of the DAC on VHS, but don't have any of them on DVD. With the Blu/DVD combo's being the new thing, I decided there was no better time than now to begin the process of upgrading my collection.

I'll never convert to blu-ray! They can keep it. I'm not planning on getting BATB anyway, I already have the last dvd version. Even in combo pack form, I'm not buying into it.

Whatever happened to the Dumbo 70th release? Was it outright cancelled? I'm glad I held on to my Big Top Edition either way.

Unless the schedule changes again, it will come out Feb. 2011.

You've got that right. I'm downright furious now at Disney for putting Fantasia off 'til December. Especially now that I shelled out $20 on eBay for a bad DVD of the THX 60th Anniversary disc. 5 more months...
