I was watching an old Disney VHS of mine (circa 1996) and I realised something that a lot of trailers for Disney's latest films have been missing: Mark Elliot's voice.

Why do we never hear this announcer anymore? Did Disney let him go or something? I think Disney wants the right nostalgic response, I think inserting this voice in could do the trick.

Yeah, I've often wondered that myself. Maybe they think he sounds dated now?

I love that short. Mark Elliot was hilarious in this one. That reminds me of an interview from the Today show.

I got the Rapunzel doll! I got her from Toys R Us. They also had her horse, but both were $30 so I just got her. :)

It also doesn't say "Tangled" anywhere on her box!

That looks very cute! I love the little animals. :)

About the title, I wonder if it was because Mattel had already made a bunch of Rapunzel merchandise and packaging before the title change. At least that isn't going to waste. :)

I hope Mattel keeps the title, because I like it that way.

Then why did it bear the title logo for, "Rapunzel," besides, "Tangled?" Besides, it does not say, "Tangled," on there, or is it.

It might say Tangled on the back, but I'll check.

But it says "featuring" which does not imply a title, but rather the name of the doll. See, Disney's trying to have their cake and eat it, too- They renamed the whole movie to make it gender-friendly, but they certainly don't want little girls to forget to buy Rapunzel dolls.

Your dog's really cute!!! And, I mean, the doll is, too- it's cool that we saw pictures of that doll months ago, and now you have it!

Maybe the packaging was made during the we'll-change-the-title-we-won't-change-the-title thing...
