Why does it look so knock-off-y? They didn't need to put Disney above the name, as it's at Disney World already.

IGN.com has posted an interview with Bruce Boxleitner (in character as Alan Bradley) that I thought I should share.

You too can work at Encom!
http://www.arcadeaid.com/infiltrate/

At this site, you can create your own Encom employee identification badge (to join the Flynn Lives crew in infiltrating Encom in order to "find the truth" behind Flynn's disappearance). They'll send you your custom-made Encom ID badge within 2-3 weeks (you'll need a Flynn Lives account to do so).

Tron Legacy Sequel Begins Booting
Disney has engaged the writers
http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=27523

"Tron Legacy is still months away from hitting our screens, but in a big vote of confidence in the film’s likely success, Disney has hired the film’s writers to start work on a sequel script.
Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, who have usually been spending their days writing episodes of Lost, will be locked in a spooky old arcade bought specially for the process and told they can’t come out until they’ve finished at least three drafts and found the kill screen on Missile Command. Okay, not all of that is true, but they have definitely been hired to write a Tron sequel." Haha, that's funny^^

I am really excited for this movie. I saw the trailer and was immediately engaged by the "Finding Kevin Flynn" theme and the arcade aspect all tied into one. This looks a good movie that both male and females can enjoy, which is always a good thing!

You know, I can't imagine why they thought to make this series. The only reason I knew about the movie is because of Kingdom Hearts (which inspired me to go buy the film). Maybe their decision was somewhat inspired by that, since the same people who would watch an action film based on the life in a computer would probably include those who would've played KH.

Not that it's a bad concept for a film. But only if they completely pretend the original film didn't exist (it was very boring). Who knows though. I would've never pegged Burton's Alice to be the blockbuster it's turned into.

But sci-fi computer-life films are definitely going to be the next cycle in the coming years, with Joe Jump, Reboot, and all that.

Really? You are the first person I have heard who thinks it was a bad idea to make this film. I think it is easy to predict that this movie is going to blow the box office numbers out the water. I also think since Jeff Bridges is coming off of his Crazy Heart win, so I think this will be a well-received film. But, as you said -- you never know until to comes out, but I have full support behind this one.
