But it just seems so.....mysterious.Polizzi wrote:Sorry to say this, but you cannot expect Disney to give it away, that would spoil the movie. That is why they put slapstick in the trailer, to attract customers to see the movie without seeing something boring. Disney puts the trailer in the fun way, to show customers that their next animated movie will be fun and adventurous. Besides, Disney will soon unleash more trailers in later months, including Madame Gothel.

That's why Disney changed the name, which is stupid, but it's their movie, they can do whatever they want. For example, sorry for bringing this Biblical example by the way, Pontius Pilate wrote, "Jesus of Nazareth: The King of the Jews." The priests suggested Pontius Pilate to write, "I Am the King of the Jews," but Pontius Pilate replied, "What I have written, I have written." Sorry to represent this example by the way, we are the priests, and Disney is Pontius Pilate. We suggest the name, "Rapunzel," besides, "Tangled," but Disney refuses, because it's their movie, and we do not own it.
I guess this example is not all, "tangled," up to be.
By the way, it does sound like a Disney Channel Original Movie, only different. Funny, but different.

We all knew the moving painting aspect was downplayed at some point in time. They do have elements in the movie that make it look more like a painting, but I wouldn't get too hung up on that single aspect anymore.
I would however look closely at the animation which so far looks absolutely amazing and much more lively and vibrant then previous animated features! We'll see much more of that in scenes showing off more "acting" scenes, like in close-ups on faces etc. I can't wait to see those.
The environments looks absolutely stunning with awesome color styling, depth, detail and a very painterly lighting. I'm definately not disappointed from this preview, quite on the contrary and can't wait to see the full trailer...

You sure will!tsom wrote:I'm doing my thesis on the marketing of Disney's Tangled. Lets just say I'll have so much to write about!
But in regards to the still robster16 just posted... "Wow!" From the trailer, the movie looks more "painterly" than I ever thought it would....
Beautiful... Once again, can't wait to see!
