Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" Video Premieres.

Post by Widdi »

Interesting. Much more engaging than the "Telephone" video.

VERY Homoerotic, I can see a lot of "Concerned Parent" groups blowing thier lid of this video in the coming days. Add that to the religious symbolisim and we gots ourselves a little controversy.

Check it out for yourself Here.

Whoa! Not what I was expecting.... but then, I never know exactly what to expect from Gaga... A very well put-together video...

1. I had read her concept for the video, and she certainly did capture it. That aspect of it was fantastic.

2. I'm not sure how I felt about the borderline-strobing effect during that one part near the end. It sort of messed with my eyes. But she was lovely during it.

3. Eye candy to the extreme! Gaga was beautiful as always, and her relatively normal hairstyles were rather cute. Some of the outfits were borderline-steampunk, and I like that. And her dancers were mostly pretty cute, too. So, it was visually engaging in that sense.

4. What was up with the last, like, 3 seconds? Seriously, that was a little creepy... I'm not sure I got it, but it was an odd way to end the video. What happened?

All in all, a very good video that will take multiple views to really appreciate in full as far as I am concerned. Now, this is true of most Gaga videos, mostly because of how much stimulus there is. I just feel that this one was an awful lot to swallow so quickly.... more views when I am more awake will be needed. But, after a first viewing, an enjoyable video. Not an immediate favorite, mind you. But maybe after it grows on me some more... Who knows?

I'm going to watch it later, but... I just had to call our collective attentions to 1 thing I find crucial...

When was the last time there was an artist who provoked so much thought with every professional step they took that UD created threads just for the debut of their music videos? This makes 2 for Gaga.
