The only part of the scene in the movie was the "WHAT?!" bit. I just added those few lines to express my anger. And the rumor BETTER not be true. Or a lot of us will be madder than a nest of African killer bees. :x

Hahahaha yeah I figured. I read the whole thing in Beast-voice though, and it was very funny.

And yeah, I'm sure this is no more than a rumor. Everyone calm down. By the time the name and advertising campaign were changed for Tangled, and certainly by now, it is MUCH too late in production to go and change what kind of songs are in the film. I remember a tweet from Mandy Moore saying that she was recording one of the songs like almost a year ago or something. So don't worry.

Like everyone that has any connection to the movie has said: the advertising and the name have changed. The story, and the film itself, has not.

Man, I just hope it isn't 70's Cowboys rock. I was and am still looking forward to the music Menken had/has in mind.

And if not, I hope SOMEONE draws the line and decides they're not selling out anymore. I swear, first Disney changes Glen Keane's vision and makes him step down from being director, then they make it an animated comedy, and THEN they change the title. But this?! Now they're just crossing the final line! :(

Are you sure that the songs for Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," is supposed to be a 60's rock composed by Alan Menken?

Well, I hope it is. It's WAY better than 70s cowboy songs. Besides, according to his work on Little Shop of Horrors, he's pretty good with 60s rock, or whichever era LSOH was set in.

Let me guess, the 70's cowboy songs are from Disney's, "Home on the Range." I wonder if he uses 60's rock songs for, "Sister Act."

Well, I know the cowboy songs are in HotR, the most mediocre Disney movie.

I want to apologize for saying this against Disney's, "Home on the Range," but here it goes: the songs are not bad, especially Slim's yodel song which is kind of annoying, but the whole movie is just terrible. But I can tell you this, it reminds me of a fairy tale that involves four animals: a horse, a dog, a cat, and a rooster. These four animals decided to live on their own lives, and decided to scare off the crooks that live in a house to live on their own. When one of the crooks came in to the house to see who lives in the house, the crook got attacked by the four animals. Disney should have adapt that fairy tale that I wish I know what it is called, instead of the song, "Home on the Range."

So the music's NOT gonna be 70s cowboy music? This is what I have to say if that's true: Thank God, Jesus Christ, his wife, and whoever came up with that lame Tom Hanks movie! X(

We were just curious about Alan Menken's compositions for Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)." I heard rumors about the composition that will not be a 60's rock, and now I do not know what it will be like. I know one thing that some songs are going to be a bit classical like Disney's, "Beauty and the Beast," but I do not know what other type of genres for the songs that Alan Menken is developing. Who knows, maybe Alan Menken will develop songs that will be based on 60's rock...maybe.

Kind of logical of them to focus solely on Toy Story 3 for now. Once that hits theatres the complete Tangled media onslaught should start, otherwise it's only conflicts of interests, the fall issue of D23 will probably be fully dedicated to Tangled!

I believe both of these were Glen Keane's decisions. Not only did if he hand the reigns to Howard and Greno for health reasons, but the project is still very much his vision. While he may not be directing it, I believe he's still supervising the project.

He's the executive producer and supervising animator. Which means he has a big hand in not only the entire production but also more specifically the charater designs of all the characters and the way they are all animated. It will still largely be his vision that you'll see on screen (at least character-wise) and the overall story qualities of Howard and Greno have been proven with Bolt which was a very, very decent effort for first time directors!

Just found an official report on the release of Toy Story and it includes details about the exact running time of that movie and all features attached to it.

The Tangled trailer is attached and it clocks in at EXACTLY 2:30 minutes!

More then likely, the trailer will premiere online one or two weeks in advance of the movie release in theatres... hopefully even sooner!

I wouldn't. Well, Goodman and McGregor wouldn't bother me. (And Alexander could be okay...depending)

But I guess the rest would fit in with Mandy Moore, if that's the impression they're going for.
