Disney movies that should get a sequel

Ok. Most of you guys call most sequels "cheapquels". Well, tell us here what movies YOU think should've gotten/get a sequel. I don't want you all to have to choose what I've choosen for you to pick. Go ahead and pick your own.

I don't know which ones should, I think....maybe Treasure Planet or......Monters Inc.......and maybe........The Great Mouse Detective.

Those are MY opinions. If you don't agree, go ahead and don't agree.

I think that The Great Mouse Detective should get a sequel.

Yeah, the Great Mouse Detective was set up for a sequel. If it gets one, I hope it's not CGI. Besides that, I can't think of any that actually seem like they need one.

Yes, Great Mouse Detective could make a nice sequel.

What about a Sword in the Stone sequel? It might be interesting to see a Disney treatment of the adult Arthur, plus it wouldn't be hard to match the quality of the original.

Those are the ones I'd like to see have sequels, off the top of my head.

There are a few movies I can think of that it would be cool to see a sequal for....

-Monsters Inc.
-Lilo and Stitch (OF COURSE)
-Hercules * A real sequal
-Great Mouse Decative would be cool
And I think they need wrap up Pochants and the Little Mermaids 3rd part realsing them far aprt just blows.

I think that the only movie in Disney's library that would be good for a sequel is The Great Mouse Detective. Even better, it should be a television show because it's got so much possibility. What's better than a mystery/adventure show? It worked well for Rescue Rangers.

I totaly agree with you and would watch this cartoon everyday. The great Mouse Decative is a moive with many possablitites.

I've noticed alot of you said "The Great Mouse Detective" or "Monsters Inc."

I was on a website a long time ago and it said something about Pixar was/is suppose to make 6-7 movies and 2-3 were going to be sequeals. But now I think they won't considering they're leaving soon. I was jumping for joy thinking they were making a Bug's life 2 (I can't believe I forgot this/no one else said this (if you did, then sorry I didn't read it.)) or Monsters Inc. 2.

Personally, the three would be great ideas. I suggest I/anyone else who likes this idea should write to Disney Studios and ask them if they're making a sequeal to these three movies/other movies you all like.

Song of the South. A collector's edition two-pack of the both of them in a few years.... that would be like a Pollo Rosa Maria from Carrabba's, delicous and something that you know you're going to get before you get there.

Since Disney owns the rights to Pixar's characters, they're already developing Toy Story 3... but Pixar's not going to be involved. I'm not at all excited for that.

You know, it's funny because Disney films that deserve a sequel don't get it and films that don't need it, get one. Ones that didn't need one was The Jungle Book, Peter Pan and definitely CINDERELLA!!! Ones that could use a sequel is Atlantis (a real one), Treasure Planet, and The Black Cauldron.
In a nutshell sequels are good and bad depending on the story, if the animation looks similar and the original cast is still alive.

I'm not sure if The Black Cauldron getting a sequel would be so great...first of all, it was made quite a while ago, and I'm kind of afraid of how the sequel's animation would look!
Not only that, but wouldn't the cast have to be altered a bit?

As for Treasure Planet getting a sequel, I could see that happening. I'm not sure if it exactly needs a sequel, but I could see how one could be made.
Let's just hope there won't be a sequel.

I don't know, I hold Treasure Island (the book) too near and dear to the heart to let an outsider 'reimagine' it. I liked it when Hook did it, though, so who knows.
