The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol.2
You don't have to click the link (it's just more convenient), and you might be able to use someone else's code if they haven't already. But the codes are definitely unique now and rejected once they've been entered (not sure what would happen if you swapped / mixed up codes between email accounts).pvdfan wrote:Just got the most recent members-only e-mail. I'm not digging the new system for the 5 bonus points. You now must click a link in the e-mail and then log-in with that same e-mail account. Makes it just that much harder to get the points for my fiancees and my accounts.

Having a unique code for each email newsletter is a problem because I never get any emails from DMR. I rely on my brother to forward to me the email and code each month. I've called DMR, and they can't offer any explanation as to why I don't get their emails. I've changed me address and I still don't get any emails. Others have mentioned this here as well, so it seems to be a flaw in the system. The person at DMR says it's out of their hands and all handled through one central database and that if I don't get DMR emails then I shouldn't be getting any Disney emails (but I do get emails from other divisions of Disney).

I was always having problems with receiving emails from DMR. At first, the email account worked.. then the emails stopped. Whenever I would log-on to the DMR site, it would say that my email address had to be updated because there was an error with it (which it didn't). DMR was the only place that had issues with my email address. I entered a different email address at DMR and everything has been working fine since.gardener14 wrote:Having a unique code for each email newsletter is a problem because I never get any emails from DMR. I forgot to mention, no birthday e-mail AGAIN this year. Also, has anyone had the problem of trying to log in points for a new DVD, and it tells you you can't because you already redeemed those points (for a different title)? I have been trying to log in the Stub the Cowdog code, and it tells me I already claimed the points for Enchanted on DVD, which is true, but this is a different movie!
I redeemed some points for The Princess and the Frog Theatrical Poster, and it came in the mail today.
THE TUBE IS BENT AND CREASED!!!
The poster has a giant crease crinkle thing allllll the way right down the middle!!!
I sent customer service an email to see if I can send it back for new one. Will they do that?

I lost points I had redeemed from Wall-E and Ratatouille.Scarred4life wrote:^I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think they expire, at least, until the program is done. (Which is summer 2011, if what I read is true.)

I didn't think they expired... When I was looking at my Pirates of the Caribbean DVD, at the very bottom of the case it said something like *points must be entered and redeemed by July 2008* But I just bought it on Sunday, and the points went through, so I assumed that they didn't expire. I guess it is best not to make assumptions when it comes to Disney.

The codes can be entered until the program ends. The reason for an early expiration date on a lot of codes is that they've extended the program about a dozen times. When the codes were issued in some older releases the expiration date listed was when the program was supposed to end at that time but everything is good until 2011 (or later if they extend it even more).

If one's a blu ray & one's a dvd they'll both work. You can't enter 2 codes from the same movie from the same format.Scarred4life wrote:Can you enter points from two of the same movie? Say if you bought Princess and the Frog, entered the points, and then bought a code from a Princess and the Frog DVD from ebay, would the points bought on ebay still work?
