Most Watched Disney DVD(s)
Mary Poppins is one I watched a lot as a boy. It has a high rewatchability factor, even if it's a pretty long movie.
Lately, I find the Pixar films most favorable to re-watching. There's so much going on that everytime you catch a new angle, notice something different, appreciate a different level on which the film works.

Well, it definately official now, TLM is my most watched DVD, I wound up seein three times in the 2 months, twice in one week, although each time was with someone different or just watched by my self while I was suffering insomnia.
(Notice my avatar... the first one so far that wasn't SB, though it isn't the one I want, I haven't been able to find the one I want anywhere

Oh man. Just wait until you have kids. Our daughter has to watch TLM at least twice a day. And when we're in the car we have to pop in the soundtrack (which I bought back in '91 while in college at Indiana University) so she can sing the "Mermaid Song": Part of Your WorldPrince Phillip wrote:Well, it definately official now, TLM is my most watched DVD, I wound up seein three times in the 2 months, twice in one week ...
I'm serious when I estimate that we have watched this no less than 200 times this year. And I cringe everytime she tries to grab that LE DVD from the player

Awe, one day you'll look back on that and smile, and wish for those days again
. Personally I can't wait, although it probably seems a little strange for a guy my age to be saying that but... Well it's not like I don't see a lot of guys my age carrying around kids, it's kinda sad...
Oh well, I can't wait, I personally hope I have sons, every once in a while I go by the disney store and I see some cool little sport jacket, and think of the day I will be purchasing that for my boy(s). Plus it will give me an even bigger reason to watch disney movies!!!
.
Yes, my kids will grow up on disney, and when they want to watch cartoons, I will just pop in a treasures DVD, I don't think all that Cartoon Network crap is healthy, even Nickelodeon seems to be going
. (With the exception of Sponge Bob ofcourse
)

You have no idea how expensive those little trips to The Disney Store can be. Although a few weeks ago we were in there and they had most of the store at 50% off AND if we spent at least $50 we got two free tix to see Finding Nemo ... needless to say that was a really good day for our daughterPrince Phillip wrote:

No... here in Brazil they just released a crapy 1-disc pan-and-scan DVD! So, I had to buy the American 2-disc set, as I do with almost all Disney films.MickeyMouseboy wrote:Jose did you get a 2 disc set in brazil? cause we did here in america.
I just buy the Brazilian editions when they are very similar, identical (or better) than the international releases, or when I don't care about the film that much.
