So I'm a little annoyed that Idina Menzel isn't even singing in the first new episode! :x  First Enchanted, now Glee! Hopefully she'll have at least one song in the final epsisode.....

So, the new episodes of Glee starts tomorrow and I must say that I simply cannot wait! It's been so long since the mid-season finale (4 months!) and it'll be the best thing on tomorrow (except for maybe Lost, even though I'm stopping that midway through and watching Glee; don't worry, I'm DVRing both of them so I can finish Lost and watch Glee again multiple times). I really just can't wait! :D

I'm trying to decide whether or not I like this show.

I wasn't interested in the show originally, but with Idina on it... I wanted to check it out.

I had also watched a bit of an earlier episode- the one with "I Could Have Danced All Night", and only that song. I wasn't too impressed, but I think it had to do more with the lip-synching part of it (as in, the soundtrack just comes off awkward).

It's hilariously funny, or last night's episode was. Jane Lynch is great, and some of those one-liners are just fantastic! But the musical numbers, eh... It's sort of, here's the song! Enjoy listening to it! And the choreorgraphy seems to jump out of no where, as well segments like "Hello, I Love You", which was half-fantasy, half in the Glee room... It seems like the show wants to be a high school dramedy and a Disney Channel musical at the same time.

Maybe if I rent the first half of the season, I'll like it more? I've been trying to find the first episodes on the internet, but to no avail.

I like when the show keeps the singing Glee club related and not walking down the halls singing while no one else notices. It just takes me out of it. I tend to dislike when everyone sings at once as the songs come off more like Kidz Bop renditions than actual performances ala "Gives You Hell". This show is the definition of "Hot Mess", I both anticipate and dread the coming of "The Power of Madonna" episode.

Of course, nothing beats the original, from the Queen, Madonna!

Julie on Glee?

http://blog.zap2it.com/thedishrag/2010/ ... glaad.html

This is the second time I've heard Chris Colfer talking about getting Julie on the show, the first time was on the Red Carpet at the Oscars or the Emmys.

Anyway, if they could actually make this deal a reality, than any reservations I had about this show would be swept away and I would declare it as the greatest show EVER!

Glee was FANTASTIC last night! It was kind of epic. I've never been a fan of Madonna, but since I've purchased "The Power of Madonna" CD, I'm really getting into her music. Overall, it was a spectacular episode. And the only people who need to sing are Brittney, Matt and Mike. I know that Brittney is going to sing "A Whole New World" which is very exciting! Finally, a Disney song! I don't know when, though. I can't wait for next Tuesday's episode with Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel returning!!

Okay, that was kind of spectacular... Really blew the previous episode away! If the rest of this season's episodes are like this, I'll be fast on my way to becoming a Gleek!

BTW, TheSequelofDisney, that's great news! I hope that's the first of many more to come!

Track List:

"Hello Goodbye"
"Gives You Hell"
"Hello"
"A House Is Not A Home"
"One Less Bell To Answer"/"A House Is Not A Home"
"Beautiful"
"Physical"
"Total Eclipse of the Heart"
"The Lady is a Tramp"
"One"
"Rose's Turn"
"Dream On"
"The Safety Dance"
"I Dreamed A Dream"
"Loser"
"Give Up The Funk"
"Beth"
"Poker Face"
"Bad Romance"

I'm glad there aren't and "The Power of Madonna" songs on there, since I purchased that already. And, apparently, none of these are from Regionals, so I wonder what's in store for the 4th album. I'm excited though! :D

YAY! I'm so excited! New episode tonight!

Isn't funny how I first talked about how lukewarm I was to show and then made a complete 360?!

So I've got all the songs and I must say that I'm most looking forward to "Beautiful" and "Fire." Amber is such an excellent singer and even though I do like the original slightly better, she does one heck of a job. And "Fire" is just going to be funny (since I saw a little snippet of the scene online). I'm really excited tonight because Glee is pretty amazing and add the Cheno in there and it's even better. I can't wait!

Glee was in top form tonight!!!

I thought they'd be done after that tear-jerking version of "Beautiful." But, I have to say, Kristen Chenoweth singing "Home" was absolutely phenominal! Easily one of (if not THE) best vocal the show's had so far. That last note (aka the cheno-note) gave me chills I haven't felt in a LONG time.

Bravo, Glee, bravo.
