When I was seven years old, I sent Disney a "script". Very nicely, and with much grace, they sent me back a letter, a Disney Adventures Magazine, and some postcards. But to put it simply, they don't accept unsolicited scripts/ideas.

:x I AM NOT EXPECTING DISNEY TO ADAPT MY ENTIRE NOVELLA, I AM EXPECTING DISNEY TO GET AN IDEA ON HOW TO DEVELOP A BETTER STORY THAN CHANGING THE TITLE TO PLEASE THE BOYS THAN DOING WHAT MAKES THEMSELVES FEEL COMFORTABLE!!! WHAT DISNEY IS DOING IS THE EXACT SAME LEVEL THAT DREAMWORKS ANIMATION IS DOING, CREATING MOVIES BASED ON PEOPLE'S INTEREST THAN THEIR OWN! DISNEY IS DOING A, "THINK ALIKE,' ROUTINE THAN A, "THINK FOR YOURSELF," ROUTINE! PIXAR IS NO FOOL, THEY ALWAYS STICK TO THE, "THINK FOR YOURSELF," ROUTINE, AND THEIR COMPUTER ANIMATED MOVIES ALWAYS TRIUMPH OVER DREAMWORKS ANIMATION'S COMPUTER ANIMATED MOVIES, INCLUDING THE, "SHREK," MOVIE SERIES, EVEN THOUGH, "SHREK 2," MADE MORE MONEY! WHAT DISNEY IS DOING BASED ON THE TITLE CHANGE IS LIKE SPITTING RAPUNZEL IN THE EYE, SAYING THAT DO NOT WANT GIRLS TO INTERFERE WITH MOVIES, ESPECIALLY WHEN DISNEY FEARED THAT GIRLS WOULD MAKE MOVIES TOO GIRLISH, WHICH IS NOT TRUE! WHAT DISNEY IS DOING IS LIKE GETTING RAPUNZEL TO SUCK FLYNN RIDER'S PENIS (THERE IS A WORD FOR THAT: BLOWJOB), SINCE DISNEY WANTED THEIR VERSION OF, "RAPUNZEL," TO FOCUS ON THE MALE PROTAGONIST THAN A FEMALE PROTAGONIST! IF DISNEY WANTED TO CREATE A COMPUTER ANIMATED MOVIE TO FOCUSES ON THE MALE PROTAGONIST, THEN WHY ARE THEY ADAPTING A FAIRY TALE THAT HAPPENS TO FOCUS ON A FEMALE PROTAGONIST? IN FACT, WHAT ABOUT THE TIME THAT DISNEY USED TO ADAPT FAIRY TALES THAT FOCUS ON A FEMALE PROTAGONIST LIKE, "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST," ESPECIALLY WHEN IT WAS NOMINATED FOR AN, "ACADEMY AWARD?" WHAT DISNEY DID BASED ON THE TITLE CHANGE, AND TRYING TO IMPRESS BOYS BY FOCUSING ON THE MALE PROTAGONIST IS BULLSHIT, AND I WILL NEVER GET USED OF THE TITLE CHANGE AS LONG AS I LIVE. AND SO WHAT IF I CREATED MY VERSION OF, "RAPUNZEL?" IF MY VERSION OF, "RAPUNZEL," BECOMES MORE POPULAR THAN DISNEY'S, "TANGLED," DISNEY WILL REGRET IT FROM CHANGING THE NAME FROM, "RAPUNZEL," TO, "TANGLED," ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO IMPRESS BOYS THAN CREATING THE MOVIE BASED ON THEIR IDEAS! WHO KNOWS, I MIGHT BECOME THE NEW WALT DISNEY IF I WANTED TO, OR PERHAPS THE NEW DON BLUTH! ALL I AM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT I CANNOT STAND DISNEY'S TITLE CHANGE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS DISRESPECTFUL TO THE GRIMM BROTHERS, AND WALT DISNEY!

I want to apologize to the community for my behavior on this message, especially the language. It is just that I cannot stand some people neglecting my ideas about what I am going to do that makes me feel comfortable. At least I know one person who appreciates my plans from YouTube about Disney's "Tangled." In fact, the reply message from YouTube about Disney's, "Tangled," told me that Pixar adapted this one clip that made Pixar created a computer animated short called, "Presto," for their movie, "WALL-E." I can tell you this, if you have dreams and you want to make them come true, just do it, do not stop. I am following my dreams to become a music composer like Alan Menken or John Williams, a famous writer like J. K. Rowling, and a famous business owner like Walt Disney. So I say to you and myself: if you have dreams that you want to do, put your mind to it, follow them, and accomplish them. And if you feel down and lonely, let the water roll off like the duck's back (those words came from my father), or should I say let the water roll off like Donald Duck's back. Why couldn't Disney after they believed that Disney's "The Princess and the Frog," did not do as well as they hoped based on the title that did not impress boys, which is not true? In fact, has Disney forgotten the very special quote created by Walt Disney himself which Disney adapted to their movie, "Meet the Robinson's": Keep moving forward? I hate to be offensive to Disney, but I think what they are doing is the same level that DreamWorks Animation is doing: creating movies based on people's interest than their own. Anyways, just to cheer myself up, here is a picture that I drew and sent on Deviart.

PS: I have a foot fetish, and I am proud of it. If you do not like it, tell it to Disney's list of movies that have shown an excellent example of foot fetish:

1. Cinderella
2. Peter Pan
3. Sleeping Beauty
4. The Little Mermaid
5. Pocahontas
6. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
7. Hercules
8. Mulan
9. Tarzan
10. Atlantis: The Lost Empire
11. Lilo and Stitch
12. The Princess and the Frog
13. Rapunzel (Tangled)

I don't even know what to say to that.

1. First off, you have the words "than" and "instead" confused.

2. You do not need to have a comma both before and after every time you use quotations for either a quote like "think alike" or for a title like "Rapunzel." It is neither grammatically correct or easy to read.

3. Please pry the CAPS LOCK button off of your keyboard, because your post even looks obnoxious.

4. What point did you make by saying "What Disney is doing is like getting Rapunzel to suck Flynn Rider's penis"? What? Please feel free to elaborate and tell us just how the two things are even remotely connected. Also, thank you very much for clarifying your meaning with the bold "blowjob." I can assure you that none of us knew that there was "a word for it", so I'm sure I speak on behalf of the entire board when I say that we very much appreciate it.

5. I dare you to send your version of "Rapunzel" to Disney. You will, at best, receive a letter back thanking you and politely declining you, explaining that they simply do not take any ideas, scripts, etc. from anyone outside of the studio, as someone has already said. At worst, you will never hear anything at all. It will most certainly never get past Disney's receptionist and into the hands of someone important. It's great that your making your own attempts to create an interesting story, and I'm sure it's probably very entertaining, especially if it's anything like your post. But Disney doesn't care one bit.

6. Are you still talking about how much you hate the name change? You've been on this board for only a few weeks, and almost every single one of your post have been the same exact thing, saying how it is disrespectful to the Grimm Brothers and to Walt Disney. We get it. Many of us are also upset about it. But coming on a Disney fan forum and ranting about it every single day gets very annoying and useless. There have been multiple times where I see there are new posts in this thread, hoping that maybe there is new information regarding the movie. But when the new posts are only you telling us the same stuff once again, it's very irritating. Please stop.

7. I'm glad you included your bit about the foot fetish. It is the most entertaining part of your post, and really messed up.

You have succeeded in embarrassing yourself quite nicely. Congratulations.

Tell it to Quentin Taratino, who created, "Pulp Fiction," and, "Kill Bill," movies that also show an example of foot fetish. He too has a foot fetish, and he is never embarrassed about it, neither do I.

Anyways, good news to the community, this will be my last time complaining about the title change. I say to you about my version of, "Rapunzel," wish me luck. By the way, if you think that I am going to send it to Walt Disney Animation Studios, think again. There is only one person who understands our dislikes on the title change, Floyd Norman.

Also, if you can explain why any one of those movies shows a good example of "foot fetish", that would be great. I suppose I can see why you included Cinderella, but besides that... I have no idea what in the world you're talking about. Foot fetish in Lilo & Stitch? What, because they are barefoot on the beach?

Wtf.

How would I know without giving it a shot, sorry for the reply? I forgot to mention, he says that he finds changing the name from, "Rapunzel," to, "Tangled," stupid, it says on LA times. Also, he is a retired Disney and Pixar animator.

It's Rapunzel's pet/sidekick: Pascal!

Btw, isn't the name too "sophisticated" for a pet chameleon? Whenever I hear that name, Blaise Pascal comes to mind.

Another thing is that Pascal is a common name in France and Italy, not Germany in which the tale takes place. Then again, Flynn is a name of Irish origin so they probably do not give too much thought in naming the characters.

I think Pascal is really cute! :D

But.... oh dear.... such drama.... I think everyone needs to just calm down. I've heard that brushing/petting hair can be very calming. Wonder when Rapunzel dolls will be released, so we can all brush her pretty hair while commenting on the Tangled thread? Besides, if she has a problem with being Tangled, maybe a nice brushing could help her out.

And Polizzi can play with her feet instead of her hair, if he prefers... :P

I don't mind the name "Pascal", my problem has always been- "What's a European Princess doing with a chameleon?"

I just looked up chameleons on Wikipedia, and apparently they exsist in southern Europe, but I don't think that's Tangled's setting...

Well, considering exotic pets were all the rage in the Victorian times, its not really that far fetched. Royalty often had private zoos and menageries. Animals from around the world were exported from Asia and Africa to Europe.

See how many real chameleons die because parents buy their kids a Pascal of their own though. :(

Yes, but surely Tangled doesn't take place in Victorian times... I would say the medieval period... So what about then?

Even with that, in consideration, Pascal would have to be a gift from Gothel. Actually, that's kind of cool... I bet Mother Gothel tries to buy Rapunzel's love, maybe with an exotic pet?

Very sad, too, about the parents who will give in and buy their children a pet Pascal... Very sad...

Exotic pets from foreign regions have been all the rage anywhere that had ships and the man power to travel to those far away regions. The ancient Egyptians and ancient Roman empires both had exotic pets and zoos that contained animals from the northern reaches of europe, asia, and africa. For a royal from any time frame since then it could be made reasonable to have exotic pets.

Aside from that, Rapunzel's apparent interest in art makes a chameleon a perfect companion. Due to all the fun colors it could make, i guess.

P.S. I hate my feet, and mostly everybody else's feet as well :P
