Most Romantic Moment

Post by Jack »

What is the most romantic moment in any of the animated classics?

I go with the magic carpet ride in Aladdin - breathtaking visuals, and "A Whole New World" is one of the most romantic, beuatiful songs ever written. Another reason I consider it #1 is because, there isn't a lot of time spent on the developing of Aladdin & Jasmine's relationship in the movie, like say Beauty and the Beast. But despite that, their romance still feels 'right' just because of the "Whole New World" sequence and how well done it was.

I also have to say, at first thinking, The Lion King, the "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" segment. That was really romantic.

I forgot about that one! Probably cause I haven't seen the film in so long. But, yes, that's a classic romantic moment in film, one of the most romantic, for sure.

The most romantic part is in Lion King with Can You Feel The Love Tonight and in Lady and The Tramp with the Spagetti!

It's either the Lady and the Tramp romance sequence (with Spaghetti and a walk in the park) or The Lion King's Can You Feel the Love Tonight? sequence. Both are great, and I can't really pick. I think that Lady and the Tramp's is more romantice with the mood, but the song really makes it special in the second one.

I'd have to say that when Snow White meets the prince for the first time and he sings 'One Song' in this old fashion style it's pretty romantic. 'I'm Wishing' is another beautiful song and scene.

Baby Mine from Dumbo. It's not the romantic in the sense that it's two people in love, but romantic in it's just such a heart-tugging scene.

For romantic in the in-love sense, I'd have to go with everyone else and say Lady and the Tramp's spaghetti scene. I remember when I first saw in...I could never think of spaghetti the same way again. I always wondered though: why is Tramp eating almost everything (except for their shared spaghetti that meatball he pushes over to Lady), while Lady is just sitting and enjoying the music?

I'd have to say the most romantic scene is probably "A Whole New World". It's extremely beautiful. And the kiss in Jasmine's balcony at the end of the scene, IT'S SO REAL!!!

But, I think the most steamy scene in a Disney film is "Can You Feel The Love Tonight". They're playing with each other, then the fall, rolling toghether and one lands on top of the other!!!!! And then Nala licks him and gives him the stare!!!!
To all who come to this happy place, Welcome!!!

I was going to say that, but then I thought: Can I really feel romantic over 2 cats getting it on? Mind you, the Lady & Tramp meatball thing is really cute.

I guess I would have to go for either the Ali and Jasmine's magic carpet ride (then again, the song is starting to grate on my nerves). The end of The Little Mermaid gets me choked up. The "Kiss the Girl" scene would also be more romantic, were it not for the fact a crab with a faux accent is singing.

Hmm, the real question here is - Does Loomis like anything?

I think I'll stick with Ali & Jasmine with the sound turned down :D
