I love that feeling, sitting waiting for the Pixar film to start and then a short plays first and I think, "OH YEAH! THERE'S A SHORT! YAYY!"
Exactly! That is how I am. I always need to get into the theaters with loads of time before the actually film is about to play, especially when it is a Pixar film!
That is what I love with all these new characters. They are making them all so relatable, so everyone can remember having a certain toy as a child and will see it on the big screen. So fun!

Well . . . same color, similar glasses, but different design. But definitely familiar. He also reminded me a little of the old Glow Worm dolls, at least in color and sorta in body style:
I adore the two of them together; and how perfect are Michael and Jodi ? What a great clip to tease us with. I agree with you Amy, this is bound to end up a favourite !
I agree with ajmrowland about Stepford... And, if Ken really is the villain, I wonder how Barbie will react....
Oh, and has anyone else noticed how the official sites differentiates between "New Friends" and "Sunnyside Friends?" New Friends are Dolly, Trixie, Mr. Pricklepants, Peas in a Pod, and Buttercup. Everyone else is Sunnyside Friends.... Could they be differentiating between "good guys" and "bad guys" or something?

Ooh...interesting assumption! All the others look like they could have a dark personality.
I have nothing to add to the discussion other than to say I'm very excited for TS3 (even though it looks as though Pixar has gone a wee-bit too close to Disney's merchandise-craziness), and just wanted to give a big to enigmawing for her awesome She-Ra signature. Any chance we could see some "Masters of the Universe"/"Princess of Power"-girls group shot à la Disney Heroines one?
sales for Ken doll are gonna skyrocket once this hits
For decades now Ken has been the completely lifeless sidekick of Barbie, but Pixar has given him a personality. Regardless of wether he's evil or not, this is just what he needed.

Rememeber, there was a bit of excitement when Barbie chucked him and out and 'divorced' him, for a younger, hotter dude Think he was called Todd or something ?!
Man, these clips are killing me! How will I wait? Ken is going to be a great character, and it will be interesting to see how he plays out. Barbie is the Tour Guide Barbie that went with the other toys, right?

Isnt she one of the singing Barbie's in Andy's room at the end of Toy Story 2 ?
You know, I am REALLY hoping that they don't pull a Stinky Pete on Lotso. He looks like a great character, like a warm, grandfatherly, big lug fellow. I can see that Ken will become an antagonist, along with the purple octopus and the giant Baby. But I am hoping that Lotso is actually just someone that loves being at the day care and thus doesn't force the toys to stay...
Please, please, PLEASE Pixar don't disappoint me with Lotso!
