Two questions and my apologies if they've been answered already in this thread -- I only went back about 10 pages.
1) How do I sign up to receive the email newsletter for notices on the monthly codes and special bonus days?
2) How do I register to receive the DMR birthday deal? On my profile, there's nowhere to enter my birthdate.

Looks like I'm automatically unworthy then since they don't provide any spot on your profile to put a birthdate, unless that's only on the movie club. It seems like I put my birthdate when I originally registered though. I'm signing my wife up w/DMR as well so it at least increases our chances of getting a freebie.ajmrowland wrote:For the Email, Im trying to figure that out. I know I registered.
With the Birthday Deal, they'll just send you one, if they deem you worthy.
Another problem I'm having is trying to sign up with the movie club. On DMR, there's a link for the 4 for $1.99 deal (w/ the 200 bonus DMR points offer), and yet when I click that it automatically directs me to a Blu-Ray offer that's only 2 for $4.99. I tried clicking the link a few more times just to see if it would change and got one other option for a "3 for" deal but it's still BR only. What's the dillio?
I wanted to mix DVD and BR in my registration option so I contacted customer service and received an email saying that option isn't available. But I neglected to mention the problem with DMR redirecting to non-4-for-$1.99 BR-only pages, so I guess I'll have to contact them again.
Have you tried restarting your browser? I had that same error and that worked.Voiceroy wrote:Another problem I'm having is trying to sign up with the movie club. By the way, I'd register at Disney Movie Club with this link instead. (I think it was posted here before by jrboy.) Instead of it being four movies for $1.99 each, a bonus movie for $14.95, a bonus movie for $9.95, and four other movies starting at $19.95 (Least amount not counting shipping $112.66); it's five movies for 20¢ each, a bonus movie for $14.95, a bonus movie for $9.95, and two other movies starting at $19.95 (Least amount not counting shipping $65.80). It doesn't get you the 200 DMR points, however.

I think the birthdated is once again a part of your Disney.com profile. Either that, or it happens on registrationVoiceroy wrote:Looks like I'm automatically unworthy then since they don't provide any spot on your profile to put a birthdate, unless that's only on the movie club. You had to enter your birth date when you first registered -- I think it was mandatory -- but it's true that you can't change it afterwards (at least not through your DMR account). I don't know if there's some master/parent Disney.com account that gets created in conjunction with your DMR account, where you can update that information.Voiceroy wrote:Looks like I'm automatically unworthy then since they don't provide any spot on your profile to put a birthdate, unless that's only on the movie club. People don't make typos on their birth dates anyway (any more than they misspell their name during registration -- I hope!), so really there's no practical reason to let us edit that field. They certainly don't want people constantly changing their b-days to get more blu rays, right?

Yaaayy I got the birthday email this morning! I picked "Meet the Robinsons" because 1) I really like that movie and 2) it tends to be more expensive online / in stores than my other choices, "National Treasure" and "Enchanted". Anyone have experience in how long it takes your birthday Blu-ray to arrive?
