I haven't seen her live but I want to!!! She used to play at the casino's in my city like 3 times a year and now that I WANT to see her... she's not around....

A thread. Started by Marky. That's not about Disney "restoration". Or colors. Or Microsoft paint.

And to stay on the Lea Salonga topic, I've never been to the concert in question, though I enjoyed watching her on "As the World Turns" in 2001 when she played Lien Hughes. It was a short-term contract, unfortunately, but it was a rather good story (a brief romance with Dr. Ben Harris while she helped him adopt Curtis). I wish she'd come back to the show, if only so there are more Hughes family members on the canvas. Bring back Andy Dixon too.

Lea Salonga is the singing voice of princess Jasmine and Mulan, so she has recorded such songs as A Whole New World and Reflection.

On her live-album "Lea Salonga Live" she sings a Disney-medley that consists of Go the Distance, You'll Be In My Heart and Reflection. You can hear it on Spotify or buy it at Amazon:

Well, they'd have to be in Asia.. it was only done in various countries there I believe.

I have the Cd though. She's good, but I don't like most of the songs.

annnd!! I found out she's having a concert in southern cali! It's about 2 hours away....... hmmmmmmmmmmmm................

She sang the extended version of "Reflection" from Mulan, and "A whole new world".

She also sang Miss Saigon (I'd give my life for you), Les Miserables things (On my own and I dreamed a dream), her wedding song and a few songs from her new album, like "Promise me", and she also did a Michael Jackson song. She also sang "Taylor the Latte boy" which was very good and funny.

In previous concerts she also sang things like "colors of the wind" or things from Hercules.

LOL Of course I know her and her work!!!!

Yes! The singing voice of our favorites Princess Jasmine and Mulan is going to be on the Wendy Williams show today! It comes on FOX in the afternoon/morning (4:00 for Californians) and a repeat at 11 PM Eastern and 8 AM Eastern tomorrow on BET. She hasn't come up yet, but here's a little blurb about her on Wendy's site. All of a sudden I saw her name as coming up and I freaked. My mom looked at me weirdly and I said "She's the singing voice of voice of Jasmine and Mulan" and Mom just nodded. LOL. Hopefully this'll come up on youtube soon.

I finally got to see her one of her concerts last night!!!! and meet her!!!! and............ even better..... I got to sing "A Whole New World" on stage WITH HER!!!!! OMGGGGGGG!!!! it was a dream come true!

Oh, I'm SO jealous!!!! Where did you see her perform, Poody? I wanted to see her at Pechanga, but I found out you had to be 21 to go to concerts there.
