Just thought I'd let you know that over at the digital bits, home theater forum a reviewer has just gotten hold of the 4 treasure sets. I dont know how long it will be before he posts a review but it could be as early as tonight, or tomorrow monrning.

Pretty interesting topic over HTForum! It seems that, in this wave, the individual numbers are not printed on the tins themselves, but on a certificate INSIDE the tin. I think it has something to do with the mess up of the numbered tins Disney did when they realized they wouldn't meet the demand. I think they decided to go on a cheaper way and not numberate each tin.

DVDToons.com has also received their screeners and should also be getting their reviews up soon.

Well, after reading that review if you weren't already excited you will be! It's great to get the rest of the color Mickey cartoons, but those extras sound terrific. They didn't specify about the Mickey and the Beanstalk. I hope it's the Ludwig Von Drake introduced version since we already have the original version on Fun & Fancy Free.

They did specify about that Maerj and it's not the Ludwig Von Drake version that's presented. It's not clear if the original Edgar Bergen narrations will be included either however.

The reason I bring it up is because there are different versions of that cartoon. I was actually kind of shocked when I saw it in Fun and Fancy Free, I'd never seen it like that before with that strange ending! I was only familiar with the Von Drake version, so that's why I'd like to get that one.

Well, I'm hoping to get the Treasures by tomorrow or Thursday, and turnaround time will be quick. :)

Wow. I got a surprise today when I got confirmation that my treasure sets have been shipped to me. I have no idea why they are sending now and not in two weeks but I am not complaining :)
Unfortunately it will take 4-10 days for them to arrive.
