Finding Nemo and The Incredibles coming to BD?
So, has anyone heard of any news on Finding Nemo and/or The Incredibles coming to BD? (Preferably in a combo.)

I predict that Finding Nemo will come out on Blu ray whenever Toy Story 3 does (which will most likely be in November or December), sort of like what they did with Up and Monster's Inc last November. That's the pattern I really like, because after Finding Nemo, only The Incredibles will need a blu ray release which should come out with the next Pixar film.
I think Finding Nemo is this year in the UK I think, May sometime. It was also up for sale last year as well so take it with a pinch of salt, I think it might stick this time though.

Well, next year it probably will. I mean, aside from 2008, the past couple years have seen exactly 3 Pixar Blu-ray releases: 2 rereleases and 1 new release.
2007: Cars(old), Short Films(kinda old), and Ratatouille(new)
08: Wall-e(new)
09: Bugs Life(old), Monsters, inc(old), Up(new)
10: Toy Story(old), toy Story 2(old), Toy Story 3(new)
11: Finding Nemo(old), Incredibles(old), Cars 2(new)
It makes sense, because that'd bring us quickly to all Pixar releases being given the Blu treatment.

I'd be surprised if Nemo was just a UK release but then hey we haven't got A Bug's Life yet!!! Disappointingly though there doesn't appear to be a Nemo combi pack coming just as there wasn't for the UK release of Wall-E and Monsters Inc. I'm finding this most annoying as I was wanting to sell off my DVD collection to offset the cost of upgrading them. Might we see future combi releases of Wall-E, Monsters Inc and Nemo just as they did with Cars and Ratatouille?
I really don't get the strategy. I mean we haven't had A Bug's Life over here yet but we got Monsters Inc and Toy Story 1 and 2 a few weeks early and it looks like we'll be getting Nemo first too but we don't get all the combi packs that you guys get. Why all the messy releasing? It's not like Pixar have a huge back catalogue to manage like say the Disney animated features.
Personally I loved the UP superset and wish that they would do these for all of the Pixar films.

Yeah, I want A Bug's Life too. Can't believe we have to wait so long before we get it, seeing how the region A already has it for over a year. Though I'm pretty sure, A Bug's Life is scheduled to appear alongside Nemo in June or something like that.
The only one that hasn't even seen any rumors is The Incredibles. Makes me wonder why they chose that one to release the last - assuming that Nemo does appear this year.

Yep, but it's not really a priority for me to own. And seeing how ordering movies from the US is quite expensive if you look at shipping costs. Doesn't really make it worth it, even though it's one of my favorites from Pixar. I don't mind to wait, as long as it comes out this year. Which according to Disney's European branch - it should.ajmrowland wrote:Isn't a Bugs Life Region-free?
i bought mine at axelmusic.com. Shipping cost is around 2 euro for a blu ray and needs around 7-10 days.Duckburger wrote:Yep, but it's not really a priority for me to own. I wonder if Finding Nemo will actually come out in November in the UK this year. They've been saying that since 2008. Though I guess it makes sense to release them (or at least Finding Nemo) alongside another recent Pixar film, which in this case would be Toy Story 3.
Can't believe The Incredibles will actually be the last Pixar catalog film to be released.

But now they've changed it to May (after from September 2008 to September 2009), there's always a chance
