That would be really interesting to see.Margos wrote:Trixie's so cute! Hey... in the description it says "also available: tyrannosaurus rex." And her design is somewhat familiar.... Not really related to Toy Story 3, but still pretty damn awesome. This is how a realistic Buzz Lightyear would look like...

Great....now we know what Disney could come out with to counter-act the Stretch Armstrong Movie with The twilight wolf...pap64 wrote:Not really related to Toy Story 3, but still pretty damn awesome. This is how a realistic Buzz Lightyear would look like...

No, the oens you were talking about were photoshopo paintings, I believe this one is a 3d render, and different guy altogether.UmbrellaFish wrote:Is that by the same guy who did the aforementioned realistic animated character portraits? Because that's even better than what I've seen from him. I don't think this one is creepy at all! Very cool!
In my honest opinion, it is not disturbing at all. The reason those examples you mentioned are disturbing is because the artists made them real while keeping the exaggerated features. Homer, for example, had realistic skin texture, a five o clock shadow and realistic hair. But his eyes were bulging like his cartoon counterpart, adding a lot to the creepiness factor.Giygas wrote:It's every bit as disturbing as the Homer Simpson and Jessica Rabbit ones that were made a while back.
But this Buzz has been modeled to look like a real man rather than just taking the cartoony features and giving them a realistic look. It's very well done since it doesn't evoke uncanny valley feelings (at least in me).

That's what I thought. But the article was in Spanish so I wasn't sure. Thanks!Kyle wrote:No, the oens you were talking about were photoshopo paintings, I believe this one is a 3d render, and different guy altogether.UmbrellaFish wrote:Is that by the same guy who did the aforementioned realistic animated character portraits? I've just seen both the teaser trailer and the actual trailer on YouTube and I'm *very* excited about this film! Finally a new Disney project (yeah, Pixar, I know...) that I look forward too!
The trailer said it was also coming in 3D. Will every (Disney)film be in 3D from now on? And am I the only one who prefers to not see it in 3D?

Well, The Princess and the Frog wasn't in 3D and I don't think Winnie the Pooh will, either. I also don't recall seeing anything in the advertising that The Sorcerer's Apprentice will be in 3D. Then again, it's been a while since I've seen the trailer.Goliath wrote: The trailer said it was also coming in 3D. Will every (Disney)film be in 3D from now on? But, it seems most Disney films coming out will be in 3-D. It's to be expected, especially after the success of Avatar (though Disney jumped on the 3-D bandwagon before this whole thing even started).
But, as of now, it seems people still have a choice on whether to see the 2-D and 3-D versions.

Since it was just a supposition, I don't know if that belongs in white... But I was thinking that that would be very interesting! I would especially love to see more of Babyface, she's just so interesting!The_Iceflash wrote:Perhaps Sid's Toys and Andy's Toys and up together at the Daycare center?estefan wrote:Didn't one of Sid's mutant toys have a head like that? So, I was just watching the trailer again, and I thought of something!!!
I don't know if it's true or not, but I'll put a spoiler warning just in case! (Highlight to read.)
Maybe Mrs. Potato Head only has one eye because the other eye is at Andy's house, watching things there. Because when it shows Andy and she says, "Andy is looking for us," maybe that's because her other eye is seeing things...
