Ranting? Who. me?! :D

I would never rant to you. I like you too much.

Everybody's got different tastes, I can't argue that. But I would argue that, technically, musically, lyrically, some people would object to calling your choices "the best" in music. :P

The Beatles - Abbey Road
It was a tough choice for the Beatles entry but I think this one comes out top with the superb opening of 'Come Together' and 'Something. A very close second would be The White Album closely followed by Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Jeff Wayne - Musical Version of The War of the Worlds
The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one, but still they come! I had the pleasure of seeing the live show last year, spectacular.

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Without a doubt the only album in my collection that has no dud songs, the best album of all time in my opinion.

Honorable Mentions:
The Beatles - The Beatles
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Beatles - Past Masters
Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene

<3 ;)

Well, I wasn't really listing them saying, "Hey, these are the bestest albums ever in the world," but more because, for me, the songs are just ones that I can relate to and whatever...for my own tastes, these albums are the ones I listen to the most often and just like a heck of a lot. :)

I mean, maybe we need to just realize that most of us are using "best" threads as "favorite" threads.

And really, not like anyone cares, but Backstreet Boys' "Unbreakable" CD needs to be up there, too, I think...it's hard to choose between the 2 albums...
