That Ultimate Fan Event was embarrassing. The hosts all looked really awkward and uncomfortable, the bands were mediocre, and the highlight of the evening (the actors and Burton) were only interviewed for 30 seconds each (except poor Michael Sheen, who only got to speak for 15, half of that was in correcting the host who called him Martin Sheen. Ouch.) I did, however, love how energetic Burton was. I've never seen him act so giddy before.
As for the "Clothe this enormous girl" clip, I like how snappy-yet-non-chalant Helena's Red Queen voice is. It makes lines like, "What happened to your clothes?" sound more hilarious than they really are. A clip of the Red Queen summoning the Tweedles was shown during a Matt Lucas interview on Craig Ferguson, but all the YouTube videos of the interview edit it out, and the videos that isolated the clip have been removed. I guess that means Disney will release it soon (as part of Wonderland Wednesday?).
Somewhat old news, but the Disney Store has unveiled various merchandise for the film. I like the stuff here better than what Hot Topic's offering. It's a bit classier and less grungy/goth. I ordered myself two shirts and will be wearing the brown one (with the Hatter's hat and Cheshire Cat's grin) to the midnight screening.
The Barbie Collector's doll of The Mad Hatter has been revealed. Even though Amazon has an April 1st release date, people have already found it in retail stores. No pics, yet, of the Alice one, nor any word on whether the Queens will get their own dolls.
Also, the London premiere, which is being held on Thursday, will be streamed live online on the official Facebook page for the film.

It bothers me that the Mad Hatter is on the soundtrack cover...it bothers me, but less so, about him being on the cover of the Almost Alice CD.
I love the artwork for this; it's so different:

A ton of new clips have been released today:
Off with His Head
Cheshire Cat
Mad Tea Party
Potion-Making
"Alice Explored" Featurette
General EPK Featurette
These look fantastic. Stephen Fry's voice for the Cheshire Cat is excellent, and the animation looks like the Tenniel illustration come to life. It's interesting that for the tea party, instead of having a full-blown score, there's what seems to be a record player of some sort playing in the background. I like how the Hatter is clearly insane (he even calls Alice a "him"), yet it's not a hyperactive insanity like Ed Wynn's. Alice's reactions at the potion ingredients are priceless. Her line, "How's THIS for muchness?" (which isn't the script) is pretty cool. Oh, and I love love LOVE that Alice lands on the ceiling of the hallway after her fall.

Although Amy posted this in the Dutch fiasco thread, Odeon have given in and should be screening Alice in Wonderland after all. I was relieved when I discovered Cineworld and Vue were playing it after all (since either cinema I go to is one of them or a small local screenroom), but this is good news anyway.
Plus, great stills and clips! I am excited, even though I may have to wait a tiny bit because of an essay that I have to hand in on the 8th.

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
I think when we got the early looks at these things, the CGI was not fully finished, but NOW everything looks as real as the actors. Or at least good ENOUGH it's convincing. Well done!

Here's some more B-roll footage:
Green Screen
Orchestra
Little Alice is absolutely adorable and is even wearing the classic pinafore dress. The flashback to the book events is only a few seconds long in the script, but it seems they've added to it. I hope it's lengthy since seeing Carroll's original story through Burton's eyes was what I've really wanted all these years (though I'm still happy with this pseudo-sequel).
For those who missed it, the Londom premiere is now available to watch.

My two favorite lines from those are definitely:
Mallymkun: "Come and get it!"
and
Chessur: "Good morning, everyone."
