Kathryn Grayson, whose beauty and lilting soprano voice brightened such popular MGM musicals of the 1940s and 1950s as "Anchors Aweigh," "Show Boat" and "Kiss Me Kate," has died at age 88.

Was so saddened to hear of her passing, another legend dies. But 88 is such a long life. And I know that she hadn't been in that good of health past few years. There was an article a few years back that she had to have Quadruple Bypass Surgery I remember vividly reading it and she hadn't been seen in years. So I am sure for her this was a blessing.
"I have this tremendous energy. I just loved and love life. I love it today. I never want to die."
