This show is definitely the best to come out of the Disney Channel since Kim Possible. Though I kinda like all of Disney's animated television shows, especially (from after 2000) Kim Possible, American Dragon, Fillmore! and Lilo & Stitch: the Series.

Even though the first season was very repetetive, one of the reasons I kept watching the show everytime was to hear Candice say her routine line.

I also love the subtle cultural references, for example in the episode ''Oh, There You Are, Perry'', Dr. Doofenshmirtz says 'We did it, we did it, lo hocimos' when he and Perry defeat the main villain of the episode. Unlike some shows that live off of cheap shots :cough:Family Guy:cough:, these jokes are very well placed and actually funny.

Can't wait for season 3 to start. And a little off topic, I'm also really looking forward to Fish Hooks and Kick Buttowski.

*sigh* if only it was the actual disney channel. I'd totally watch a Phineas and Ferb marathon over the Super Bowl haha

On March 30th, Walt Disney Records will release Disney Karaoke Series: Phineas And Ferb. One item worth noticing is branding it as a Disney XD property (not Disney Channel).

1. Gitchee Gitchee Goo [Extended Version]
2. Backyard Beach
3. S.I.M.P. (Squirrels In My Pants)
4. Little Brothers
5. E.V.I.L. B.O.Y.S.
6. Ain’t Got Rhythm
7. He’s A Bully
8. You Snuck Your Way Right Into My Heart

I love "Phineas and Ferb". I have trouble picking a favorite episode to write about here but one of my favorites is "The Monster of Phineas N Ferbstein". I think it's funny how the story that Doofenshmirtz tells Perry lapses over into Phineas and Ferb's grandfather's story. My favorite line is when Candace [who's named Constance in the story] says "I'm telling mob" and tells the town mob that Phineas and Ferb have a monster. "The Monster's Ball Best Monster Contest" scene is hilarious. Also, this episode pays tribute to "Frankenstein" and "Young Frankenstein" which are two of my favorite films. I know some people may scoff but I think this show has some great writing on it.

The Christmas Special was funny, but my favorite has to be the one with the Miniature Golf. The scene where it starts to take off is absolutely priceless! The song's good too! :D

I've only seen a few episodes, but I know a family of five that love the show and can sing the theme song word perfect, up to tempo and with sound effects.

pap64 wrote:To be honest, I think this is an alright show. Not the best or even a surprise hit. Just alright. Its good to watch some episodes, but I never felt compelled to watch all of them.

I will admit that its smarter than the typical cartoon fare and admire the fact that its characters are smart and enjoyable. One thing I am hating lately about cartoons is that they have to make them incredibly dumb just to deliver a laugh. As much as I enjoy Chowder and Sponge Bob delivers some good stuff I hate how the main characters are so dumb and naive to the point of annoyance.

At the very least, the characters in Phineas and Ferb are funny without their smarts being sacrificed. The ingenuity and creativity of Phineas and Ferb alone is solid enough to carry the show.
You said it. My favourite line is when Doofenshmirts says 'life was much easier when I worked as a garden gnome'

So is there any new Phineas and Ferb stuff coming out at all? A new DVD? A new CD? Anything?

the show totally rocks. i cant afford disney channel, but they have it once a week on free tv. love it! i used to love pepper ann and recess as well, but they dont show that anymore. was moose a girl or a boy?

one day i will get disney and never miss an episode again. the last one i saw was a musical montage with the 10 best songs as voted by who knows, lol. think my favourite one so far was the one where doofenshmirtz creates his own island and it ends up sinking. they are rerunning a series, but its good cos i missed most them the first time round due to working night shift and falling asleep, lol.

kim possible is awesome as well. not really a fan of the replacements, but maybe cos they show it over and over again.

^^ awesome!

Hopefully we'll see some uncut, HD widescreen DVD or Blu-ray season sets from that!!

And hopefully they won't push it too far. I love SpongeBob, but I really hate the episodes produced after the movie -_- I don't want that to happen to Phineas and Ferb =/

Wait, a spin-off show. Why haven't we heard anything about this before?

I do hope Phineas and Ferb becomes just as popular as Spongebob, though I don't get why a company would announce that it wants a show to be popular, surely they know that's not how it works. Let's just hope that the writing for P&F stays strong, unlike Spongebob, which hasn't been funny for anybody over the target demo for well over 4/5 years.

Yeah I'm probably gonna end up buying the Christmas DVD... but I really wish they would just do season sets already... in proper HD widescreen.

Yikes!!! Friday, August 6, Disney HD ran an 11-hour marathon of Phineas and Ferb topped with a brand-new one-hour long "Phineas and Ferb The Summer Belongs to You" episode.

If you get Disney XHD, then Monday it is a total repeat of the Friday marathon.

On weekends for the next 8 weeks, Phineas and Ferb two-hour marathons every Saturday and Sunday.

Can't get enough of this show. It is the best reason, and ONLY reason to watch Disney Channel at this point in time.

Everything else is aimed at the 'tweens', and most of it is junk. All have those annoying 'laugh' tracks, none of them would last a month on regular network television, and let's face Disney has changed, but not for the better.

Long Live Phineas and Ferb!!!
