After four years, it's finally being released:

I can't wait! I just traded in my copy of season 1 because I was not expecting Warner to finish off the series due to music licensing issues. Looks like I'll be buying the season 1 / season 2 double pack for $20 at Wal Mart! I'm thinking season 6 will probably be released by September as a way for them to cash-in on the series' 20th anniversary and its (inevitable) syndication success on Disney Channel.

O/T, but-this gives me some hope that eventually the second season of Growing Pains will finally come to DVD! (the first season was released 4 years ago.)
