I think the only surprise left for Scully is what he got since he knows who he got it from and when he's going to get it.

I got from him Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs DVD!

Thanks so much and deeply sorry over all the fuss, but I really was beginning to worry that it was taking so long.
I'm greatly relieved that you received your present and at the same time extremely disappointed. Amazon wouldn't ship in time even though I ordered it on the 16th and Deep Discount said that if I paid for the expedited delivery it would get there by Christmas. I paid the extra money only to watch as it didn't get shipped for about a week and than find out it wouldn't get there by than and got there a week later. Needless to say I won't be ordering from them again.

I'm sorry that this expereience was not good for you and I apologize for the horribly late delivery. I hope you had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year and can enjoy Snow White.

Also, a thank you to Jack for Spirited Away. Thank you.

Oh and please don't doubt that you won't get anything. If I say I'm going to get something for someone I will. Unfortunately, I couldn't control what happened on the other end after I ordered the gift.

I just called them to find out what happened and they said that due to high volume their guarantee to deliver by Christmas if you ordered by a certain date and paid the extra for shipping was no longer guaranteed. She said she would refund my extra for shipping and I told her that wasn't good enough. In the end, she said there was no more she could do, refunded the shipping and I told them I would no longer be using their services for anything. Another example of a shining beacon in the world of customer service. :(

I got a wonderful birthday surprise today in the form of a group gift from a number of UD forum members. Once Christmas came and went, I figured that perhaps this much appreciated but unnecessary tradition had ended. Quite the contrary, I received an amazing assortment of wrapped gifts from Aaron Wallace (who you may know as AwallaceUNC) and 18 other readers/posters of this site. What's especially remarkable is that a number of the thoughtful givers were unable to participate in this year's Secret Santa or haven't had much time for posting here of late. I am so touched that they and the others consider my efforts here worth rewarding, even in the challenging times we live.

I received the following items sure to be enjoyed and treasured:
- a gift card to Romano's Macaroni Grill (also good, but unlikely to be redeemed, at Maggiano's, Chili's, and On the Border)
- Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo
- DVDs: Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! - Seasons 2 and 3, Black Books: The Complete Series, The Simpsons Movie, Slumdog Millionaire
- the Disney Christmas Storybook Collection
- Pixarpedia book
- The Official Chuck Norris Fact Book

All of these things are greatly appreciated! I can report that one of the DVDs has already been watched in full (TAEASGJ:S2) and others are soon to follow. I especially enjoy Pixarpedia, a new book that I didn't know existed but now rank among the very best I own. It couldn't have come at a more appropriate time, with my Pixar familiarity, interest and appreciation at all-time highs following the wonderful Up and my fall '09 revisitation of the studio's canon. The book is so visually impressive and chockful of great information that I can't believe the list price isn't three times what it is. I was aware of the Christmas Storybook Collection and browsed it enough in stores to be interested in it. I'm thrilled I can now enjoy it in full! I read the first story, the Toy Story universe's "A Toy Christmas" and it was every bit as awesome as that sounds. I hope the other 17 holiday short stories are as inspired and look forward to finding that out.

Thanks so much to all who contributed to this. It is so nice to be recognized and in such a warm, colossal and satisfying way. You've certainly brightened my year.

Lol, and the coincidental thing was he was making a big fuss about sending it on time, when he really didn't have to ! :P (Thanks in advance ajmrowland, I'm sorry if the wishlist was too vague, which probably was why you had trouble sending it in the first place but at least I'll still be surprised about what it was.)

Your Welcome, Gurgi, it's one of my favorite movies, so I had to pick it for you. :)

Oh, it was no trouble ordering the gift. the shipping is slow. It did ship out within a day of ordering, and I'm kinda pissed it's taking this long to get to you. Again, I'm really sorry.

Well, it's a learning experience for next year.

Sorry I didn't get to do it this year! It's been a very hectic year since my dad passed away, me moving, and I don't have internet. So I can only get on when I can. But things are changing this year....I feel it!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Bless you all!

I'd just like to add that yesterday I received the last part of my group gift from those 19 thoughtful UD Forum Members... a Toy Story Collection Buzz Lightyear action figure which comes in a box just like the one seen in the film and can be enjoyed in Space Ranger and Toy Buzz modes:

:o What a way to start the new year. Very awesome. Thanks!

Glad you liked the gifts, Luke! That's two years in a row, now, we've gotten you snazzy electronic Pixar action figures. We're going to have to break the mold next year to shake things up (unless, of course, Disney Consumer Products comes out with a startingly interactive Dug or Kevin. And by Kevin I mean the bird, of course, though you may not object to a lifesize Kevin Arnold...). Happy New Birth Year Day!

I've been without internet for the past month, so I wasn't able to get online and say a proper thank you. I was so excited to find a card in the mail all the way from Malta! The note inside was very kind and special gift from Malta was also greatly appreciated. I truly think my favorite part of Secret Santa is getting to know more forum members better :)

On a somewhat related note, Julian Carter, you'll be happy to hear that I went to a special screening of "Walt & El Grupo" last night here in Kansas City! It was a rare opportunity indeed, because according to one of the theatre owners, the documentary is a hard one to get for exhibition and has only played in a few cities. This screening was part of a fundraiser for something called the "Thank You Walt Disney" Foundation which is renovating Walt's original animation studio and saving it from demolition here in Kansas City. The presentation last night included a special guest, J.B. Kauffman, author of the book "South of the Border With Disney" (one of my gifts from Julian Carter!) and contributor to the documentary.

Needless to say I got my copy of the book autographed by the author and had a great time meeting other Disney fans in the area.

Thanks again, Julian Carter, for a wonderful Christmas gift! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!
