Ooh, thanks for that link, Sunny Wing! I've bling'd up Gromit and given him a friend!Sunny Wing wrote:I revamped my old Tink pic for Christmas again this year using blingee.com.

I think I added too much snow, though. Ah well. Snow is fun!

ok, so this has been a pain for me for about a year now and I've always assumed it was my fault or that I was doing something wrong, but i can't seem to get a avatar. Every time i try to post one my profile says i have to fill in all required fields, and pretty much ignores the fact that i have... My image is 100x100 pixels and only 8 KB so it fits the required size too.
so, I'm just wondering what i can do now at this point.

I changed my avatar to my favorite character going to work.
singerguy04, there is a great site (courtesy of blackcauldron85) listed a couple pages back that resizes images. I had your same problem. The site is

Just type your current password in all three boxes (current/new/confirm password) and then select your avatar. Then click submit and that's it.singerguy04 wrote:ok, so this has been a pain for me for about a year now and I've always assumed it was my fault or that I was doing something wrong, but i can't seem to get a avatar. Thanks!Mayhem wrote:You really do have some classy talent now EW
Since your avatar seems to be the right dimensions and file size, I'm guessing you might not be filling in all three password fields near the top. This needs to be done even if you're not changing your password. If I remember right, it was a glitch in the forum when they were trying to combat spam accounts from being formed a while back.singerguy04 wrote:ok, so this has been a pain for me for about a year now and I've always assumed it was my fault or that I was doing something wrong, but i can't seem to get a avatar. Hope this helps.

lol, i knew i was messing something simple up. I never assumed i'd need to fill out all three!
Thanks Mooky and enigmawing!!! Now I can be cool like everyone else!
Since i'm in the topic for it, i just have aurora as my avatar simply because Sleeping Beauty is my favorite DAC.
*edit*
i just decided to change it to my album cover instead

I made a quick avatar to sorta match my new banner . . .

As I said in the siggy thread, I live in the desert now and miss the winter snow.

Quick thought . . . does anyone else think that the next set of siggy and avatar threads could be made as one thread instead of two? Some of us tend to change them both at once anyway so it would save time to just have one place to post them in.
