I'm pretty sure this won't be their last, since there are a few more hand-drawn movies planned, like The Snow Queen and a surprise movie directed by John Musker and Ron Clements.
Awe Clements and Musker aren't doing Snow Queen?
Clements Musker and MENEKEN need to come togetehr to make some magic!

Well, to be honest, I'm not all entirely sure. All I know is that their new movie is coming next year, or so I have heard.
I thought that Clements and Musker were doing "The Snow Queen." Now I'm confused....
As for the "mystery project," we all know by now that it's "Rapunzel" coming out next year, so it's highly unlikely that there'll be another DAC coming out, around the same time, that absolutely no information about has been leaked.

If Rapunzel were the mystery project, wouldn't it be hand-drawn instead of CGI built to resemble hand-drawn, and wouldn't Musker and Clements' names be on it as well?
I saw this a second time on the 26th, and I still love it. The audience I saw it with was completely into it, and that includes the young adults and senior citizens.
As of right now, I'm calling this #13 on my list of Disney and Pixar animated movies. That's right below The Jungle Book and right above Sleeping Beauty.

Though I liked SOME of the sequels dished out. Like Cinderella 3 and TLM: Ariel's Beginning.
Yeah, it definitely seems like DisneyToon got better as it went along. I've heard that those were both pretty good, although I haven't seen them. But that's why it's fitting that the Tink movies will be their last project, since they're also their best.
If Ray were a Peanut, he'd be Linus. Ray believes the north star is a female firefly. Linus believes in the Great Pumpkin giving presents to good kids on Halloween. They're loyal to their friends and can solve pretty much anything.
i work at the Disney store and allot people think this is a direct to dvd movie.
id say this is a great movie then they say oh is it out on dvd? then i tell them no theaters only for now they seemed suprised
Just watched this for the 6th time today and I have to say, I'm not a bit tired of it yet. I still want to see it more and more! (And it's not just me, my friend has seen it 4 times and shares my feelings as well )

When I saw The Princess and the Frog a second time, I also liked it even more. I loved it on the first viewing, but I was still incredibly hyped to the max due to my massive excitement when watching it. On the second viewing, having already seen it, I could watch it a tad calmer and I was able to appreciate a lot of the details in the story and thus I noticed even more how meaningful and poignant Tiana and Naveen's relationship is.
I was checking Box Office Mojo and according to them, The Princess and the Frog went back to the top 5 after dropping to number 7 on Christmas weekend.
The site hasn't updated with Tuesday's numbers, but the fact that the movie went back up a bit after a big drop is promising and MAY make it to 100 million before it ends its run.
yeah, the monday number was VERY promising. If it follows the usual trends for children's holiday movies, it will at $ 85 million by the end of the week.
It would have to make only $15 million from then on. Of course January is a dead month so it will be tough, but it doesn't look to be doing much worse than Meet the Robinsons or Bolt at the moment. And keep in mind, TPATF cost $45 million LESS than Bolt.
I took my girls to see it the other day and we all enjoyed it a lot. The theatre wasn't packed but it was extremely busy and the lady said that all of the showings recently have been that way. Stupid Chipmunks and blue people may be more popular but TPatF is going strong here.
Well, I just finished watching the film (online, but hey, I couldn't get to the theater) and I must say that it was pretty amazing. I was kind of worried about the side characters, but they proved to be funny many times and they added to the story. Tiana and Naveen were perfect together and I'm glad that they ended up together in the end (but that's what had to have happened). Dr. Facilier and Mama Odie were great opposites and both of their songs were great. I was skeptical about how Menken was not going to composing the songs, but Newman did a good job (I still think Menken could have done better, but that's in the past so there's nothing that anyone can do about it). Overall, A+: an excellent movie!
