Thanks, glad you like it, Amy.

Wow, I'm down to one viewer in this thread, ha. I don't know why my work has never had mass appeal. Well, I guess it's better than certain folks who pop in just to throw insults or start arguments. Anywho, as I haven't seen the film yet, I had forgotten she has a green princess-type dress too, and I kinda wish I'd used that one instead since it is more unique to the character, but I found more references of the blue one...

I follow you in DA mostly. I don't post much here. But least you have one person. Frequently, when I posted my own music videos, I got not a nibble.

I've been looking at it, too... Just never posted before, and don't have a DA... but great job, slave2moonlight! They're all very nice!

Well, thanks, and thank you both for chiming in. I just see other art threads get plenty of posts here, and I find I rarely get posts when I start threads of any kind here, ha.

Man, I've been watching the thread for a while, yet this is the first time I actually comment on it.

Great drawings, dude! And I am happy that you already added Tiana to your lineup.

Wow! That's a great group! They all look gorgeous! And props to you for using less-popular characters, like Amelia, Sue and Shanti! This may be a stupid question, but who is that yellow bear thing? Is she from one of those Disney cartoons from the 90s that everyone talks about? Also, what is Violet trying to do to Wendy? :P Still, a very excellent fanart!

Oh wow! And I just noticed Tink! She's so tiny, but I love seeing all of the characters in scale, so it's absolutely perfect!

Now I know this is gonna sound cliche, but far above anything else you have to create art to please yourself. Feedback and compliments are always a good thing of course, but don't let a lack of them get you down. There are so many appreciators out there that don't say much of anything, that have no idea how to compliment something they like. In fact it seems the most avidly vocal groups out there are the complainers. :p If you really want to experience the lack of feedback, try writing fanfics.

That being said, keep up the good work. ;)

slavetomoonlight: Maybe its best if your work isn't widely noticed. Otherwise, some loser will swipe it, trace over them and claim its their original work. Or they will use it for stuff like Facebook icons without your permission.

There are some perks to being widely recognized, my friend ;) .

It's no perk for me because I need to make a living, ha, and this is the only thing I was ever good at.

Tink should probably be even tinier, ha, but did you see Miss Bianca? I need to add more tiny ones too.

Actually, Violet is standing a bit in front, so she's not actually touching Wendy, but once in a great while, I get asked about that, ha.

The yellow bear thing is a Gummi Bear, ha. It's Sunni from the '80's Disney television series, The Gummi Bears. I need to add more Disney TV toons like her and Gosalyn too.

I agree. Same thing with my music videos. I make them for ME first. The few times I tried to make them to please other people, I wasn't happy with them. That's why I don't take video requests, because I feel I need to do what they want. But on the other end of the spectrum, when I request a commission, I tell the artist, like my unicorn costume designer, have fun. I rather an artist do their own style then have to conform to something they don't enjoy. The art hurts then and you can tell that sometimes when you compare it to artwork they designed on their own.

Well, of course I do this for me first, since no one is paying me, ha. It IS basically "fan art", after all. I had enough of doing art to please others in school, and that never came out well because I hated doing it. Stuff like this wasn't really encouraged. But, of course, the reason we post our art online, hang it in galleries, etc... is to connect with others who have similar interests/passions, get some encouragement (some would say feedback, but more honestly I think most of us are seeking encouragement), and possibly even get lucky with a commission or something now and then, and I haven't had much luck with any of that. If you're an artist, there's always a desire to have your work acknowledged. I guess it just doesn't sit well with me that if I die tomorrow, no one would notice or mourn, or miss my art or me in general beyond my parents and siblings. Being ignored/passed by has been a lifelong problem for me. However, I have never been one to do art to please others unless I was getting paid or graded for it. And I'm never satisfied with that stuff.

:o No, I never even saw Miss Bianca, until you pointed her out, and I had to do some pretty close looking! Wow!

That reminds me...one of the thinks I like about the composition is the heights. They are realistic. Daisy isn't the same height as Pocahontas. And Bianca is very small, and hard to miss, but she is there. I saw her there a while back. Can't remember if by chance or was specifically looking for her due to the list you have on DA :)

Thanks. Yes, that's the problem I have with the meet 'n' greet characters at the parks. I still love them, but why are Chip 'n' Dale bigger than me? Ha.
