Reissued Mistake DVD's

Post by Gurgi30 »

Ok. I know that two DVD's were reissued due to mistakes but I don't know which ones and I don't know if there are anymore.

Chronological Donald Vol. 4 - Disc ???
True Life Adventures - Prowlers of the Everglades - Which set and Disc?

I believe someone also said Silly Symphonies was repressed though unsure of volume or disc. Can anyone list the details from the ones above, list any more DVD's, especially Treasures, that can be exchanged and than finally the details on how to go about exchanging them for the right copies? Thank you for the help.

The following discs were repressed/replaced by Disney as far as I know:
- Both discs of the "More Silly Symphonies" treasure set ("Silly Symphonies vol 2" as some people call it), due to incorrect use of title cards, deleted elements in some cartoons that were readded and an incorrect chronological order in the menus of the discs and during the "Play all" function
- "True life adventures, vol 1", disc 1, due to color issues in the film "Prowlers of the Everglades" (color channels were swapped, making the film look more blue/purple than green/brown
- "True life adventures, vol 4", disc 1, due to an incorrect movie aspect ratio at the end of the film "Secrets of Life"

I do not know of a replacement of a disc of one of the Chronological Donald sets.

The replacement for DISC 1 of Chronological Donald Volume 4
solving the problem found on the "bee on guard short" (it had a 5-second
cut before the ending) is now available. You can contact
Disney if you live in the US or simply write them
at WDHE Report Problem <ReportProblem@dvd-videosupport.com>
if you are outside of the US.

This last Disc was likely pressed this late in the game because of the reissue
of all the Treasures for D23 members.

Disney just wrote to me saying my replacement is on its way.... :D

What about the unrestored transfers on Disney Rarities and Donald volume 2?
Did they correct those too for the D23 box?
I guess not... :(

Anyone know whether or not I can contact Disney via e-mail to request replacements (lives in US)?
