people, lighten up! it's a slip cover for goodness sakes! They aren't gonna take over the world anytime soon lol. If you do not like this thread then don't post in it or read it! Simple as that.
I think I have all the slipt covers that came out.
Do Not Start New Threads About Slipcovers
UD's reviews always mention if a DVD initially came with a cardboard slipcover, and so does Jake Lipson's thread...so there is positively no reason that new threads asking about titles should be started. You are entirely welcome to discuss those cardboard packaging treats that sometimes open like a book and sometimes don't. But leave discussion for Jake's thread or a topic already discussing the relevant DVD.
Thus, a new thread didn't need to be created just to ask "how many do y'all have?". All slipcover discussion should be in the Slipcover thread (or if one wants to peruse it, the Frickin' Slipcover Discussion Thread Archive)
BTW, Ceej, if you see this, here's an additional slipcover thread to merge to the discussion thread:
Now I have 75 regular DVD slipcovers with the addition of James and the Giant Peach, (which by the way is a Limited Edition DVD Sleeve) and Little Mermaid III. I also have 3 Blu Rays slipcovers with the addition of The Nightmare Before Christmas Blu Ray slipcover!!! I'm loving it!!!

personally i could care less about the slipcovers. when i buy my movie the first thing i do is smash the slipcover and throw it away. as long as i have my movie in a case i don't care. a slipcover is pointless. lately i don't even use my tins for my WDT. those i won't get rid of though. those i have in my shelf because i still have space and i will continue getting my WDT with tins for that matter. slipcovers on the other hand are worthless IMO
Being the collector I am, once I start something I have to finish it. So if it comes with a slipcover I need to have it with the slipcover. I can't have one of my DVDs be naked in my collection.. that's just the way I am.
To me, they make everything look classier and better. The slipcover art looks 10 times prettier than just the DVD case art alone with their special effects.
If you don't like them, who cares. If you do like them, who cares.
They're there if you want them. It's just a little something extra for collectors.
However, in my opinion, they aren't worthless.
Just like any hardcover book has a removable paper cover for a better visual presentation, some DVDs have slipcovers. Just because they are for presentation doesn't mean they are worthless, or just because some people don't like them doesn't mean they are worthless.
Even if the only purpose they serve is a better visual presentation and making some people happy. Of course the movie itself is what matters, but for people like me slipcovers just add to the purchase.
Like I said, if you don't like them, don't like them. Nobody cares that you don't like them.. just like if you do like them. What's the big deal, honestly?

Since I buy my Disney DVD's and Blu-Rays on the first day they are offered, I don't believe that I have missed any. So if there is a Slip cover to be had, I have them all. Of course, I won't have the slip covers for the Blu-Rays that I don't feel I should double dip on, like "Chronicles of Narnia 1 &2", "National Treasure 1 & 2". As a rule though if it came with a slip cover and I bought it, I own it.
The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!
These slipcovers used to be special when Disney was the only one doing them. Now it seems that multiple studios are making slipcovers for their DVDs in the same fashion that Disney does. It's totally pointless now.

Hey, I wasn't counting that one!!! 141!!!
