Well I hope Jason Lee will come back as Dave S. He was perfectly casted and took a charm with the role. Sounds fitting for the boys to meet the Chippettes' at middle school, not sure bout why/how they could bring Ian Hawke back, if he's gon'na be in the film....give him more personality and kinda make him alil more serious villain. Can't wait to see the "new" Chipettes yet I'm worried bout their clothing style. The plot seems alil stronger this time around. Wonder classic Chipmunk song they'll remake....Alvin's Twist, We're The Chipmunks (DeeTown Rock)

I'm surpised that the girls are cute and not "tomboyish" which I wouldn't mind. Hopefuly they'll make an appearence in the offical trailer.

The new trailer looks awesome and the Chippettes singing "Single Ladies" was a nice touch too. Can't wait for the sequel.

That's awesome! I can't wait! To nitpick, I hate the Single Ladies song in general, and is that high school they're supposed to be in there? Should have been Jr. High at most. And I would prefer for them to lose the hoods and Alvin to have his cap. Didn't he have the cap at the end of the first movie? Still, I think I'm going to love this. I loved the first.

Oh, man, that new trailer makes it look even better! I love how they're bringing back cast members and everything! Really clever how they're bringing in the Chipettes with the villain from the first film (forget the actor's name, but he always cracks me up).

Okay, I can say the trailer looks much better than the teaser!

Also, I like the promotional image. It looks-dare I say it-sexy.

I was a fan of the chipmunks growing up, and I didn't think the first film wsa that good. This'll be good, I'm certain.

I need someone to explain the appeal of the Chipmunks to me, because for the life of me, I don't get it. Is hearing things normally sung at a lower decibel higher funny to people? Is hearing dated hackneyed catchphrases ("Shake what your mama gave you!") also in a higher pitch funny? I just don't get it.

Yes Brenders that is the supposed comic idea unfortunately. Good writing and timing are SO overrated apparently.

Only really worked in The Emperor's New Groove IMO.

I don't get it, Flangy, are you saying chipmunks spouting catch phrases and singing old songs is BAD writing?

Not to mention the six millionth rendition of "Single Ladies". That song was overdone a year ago. As much as I like the song, if I have to hear it again I will claw my ears off.

The only thing I care about in regards to this film is how much it will affect The Princess and the Frog's box office. The Chipmunks should have died in the '80s and if they were real they would have, damn CGI.

In my mind they should have never existed. Sometimes I just meditate and ask myself what kind of a god would allow Alvin and the Chipmunks to become part of pop culture. I never found them funny, on record, as a cartoon, or as CGI.

Well it's not necessarily bad, according to Lindsy Naegle it does increase proactive watching on the part of children by 26-38% which can really drive box office sales.

The you are NOT going to like my performance on Rockin' New Years Eve this year. It's essentially the version of the song from Glee, but gayer.
